Nice cozy hotel in a sleeping area of Smolensk. It is absolutely new, made with a design of a villa with light green/yellow colors, pretty small details and white furniture. Price is very good; hotel has nice breakfast: 1 hot dish for your choice, plus sandwiches, yogurt, corn flakes, cakes, tea and good Americano from coffee machine. Each extra hot dish cost 100rub extra. Hotel is situated closer to a park with big lake that should be great on summer. There is a restaurant nearby with tasty food, but lack of atmosphere, you may ask food from it to your room. Minimum order is from 1000rub. Photos of hotel 100% reflect the realty. There are 2 commercial centers closer to hotel 1 calls RIO and it is walking distance, other is MAXI that is something like 2,5km from the hotel, but it is bigger and have cinema. Taxi until MAXI cost 100rub. Wi-fi in hotel was good. Minuses are very small: lack of elevator, no empty electrical points, so if you’ll need to charge you mobile you will need to disconnect something, TV has only 10 local channels, but it is a general problem of all Smolensk hotels, no English speaking personnel.
