What was good

nearby the sortavala train station. 7 mins car ride by taxi. It will cost you around 150 rubles to go from the train station to the hotel. good location with a splendid view of the lake there is no food provided but there is a very spacious kitchen with all cooking utensils provided. you can visit the nearest produkti/supermarket (3mins away maybe) and you can cook yourself a meal! very clean, warm and homey feels the bed was comfortable! the room was warm, there was a tv and towels were provided. it feels like i was staying over at a friends house but i got my own room. toilets and bathrooms were outside the room but they were clean and spacious! we had to wear house slippers once we were inside the house. not a speck of dust found! very clean! the hotel staff were so so sooo friendly! he helped us call the taxi when we were in a rush, helped us with our bags, checked in on us to make sure everything was ok! very very nice people

What was bad

nothing! i had a really comfortable stay here! i would definitely return in the summer for a new experience :) 10/10 would recommend. Suitable for students too :)
