What was good

Walkable to many main attractions of St Petersburg.

What was bad

The hotel basically had 2 wings, one is much nicely renovated and is accessible by elevator, and the other wing seems much dated and has no elevator. Photos shown in hotel listing are mainly from the wing that has elevator. I reserved 2 Comfort Apartments and was unfortunately assigned in the older wing and were on different floor! The 2 rooms were supposed to be the same type of room with 20sqm, but the room on 3/F was obviously much better than the one on 2/F no matter in size, configuration or fixtures. While the 3/F one is bigger, with a larger bathroom and bathtub, the 2/F one is smaller, has only shower and a broken shower head. Apart from this, I believe the room on 2/F facing courtyard are close to some sewage pipes. I could always smell some bad odor whenever I opened the windows. Though I had reported the situation to the reception, I was advised that the hotel could do nothing but informing the City about this. Rooms are not sound-proofing. You can clearly hear talking of guests passing by and also people in the courtyard. Very poor quality of disposable slippers. Better bring your own slipper if you stay here. No bottle water will be provided There is no daily housekeeping. Cleaner will only change towels + cleaning on the third day and change bedsheet + cleaning on the fourth day. Buffet breakfast is served in a restaurant named 'Unity' next door from 8 - 11am. We have stayed in Port Comfort by Moyka for 6 nights. On day of check out, we have to leave early at ~8am to catch the train. We thus asked the restaurant if we could just pack some sandwich to go at 8am, but was refused. So we just left without taking breakfast that day. I believe the hotel/restaurant could be more accommodative.
