Very nice staff and location. 
Room seems smaller than on the pictures while booking. We rent two rooms apartment and the price is honestly to high for that place. But Nevskiy is expensive itself. What I did not like was that the heating system did not work yet, so the apartments was extremely cold. What I would suggest is to stay less days in St. Petersburg but take a 5* star hotel in the center, it is twice more expensive but 10 times more comfortable!

Good enough

I had no other choice this time. Due to a big international congress I couldn't book, what I wanted to book. So, the last chance was Acme mini-hotel in the hart if St, Petersburg. The personal was nice and the location was good. But this is the end of pluses. The furnitures were in a very bad condition. My bed collapsed in the middle of the night for several times. The water in the bathroom was in red color (old pipes). Be carefull with book the "economy room". it has no private WC. I was able to make a last minute change to a standard room. The price-value ratio is not good at all. The hotel was high priced and offered no quality. The hotel is difficult to find. There is an elevator, but it doesn't work (it's for private use for another floor)- you need to carry your laguage upstairs .

The hotel is small, nice and clean. They have a Jacuzzi baths in every room. The location is perfect: 5 minutes to Nevski prospect. The breakfast is included. The girl at the reception was very nice and helpful.I woul drecommend it for staying.

Liked it very much

Acme Hotel has 6 different locations in St. Petersburg. We have booked the one on the Nevsky Prospect. This location was just perfect on all fronts. Public transport from airport stops 5 minutes walking from the hotel. All city attractions are within walking distance, also the train station. You can not get more central. Ask for a clear description, because the hotel is a bit hidden.
The hotel is located in a typical historic building, where also a hostel and apartments are. There is no elevator, to walk up to the top floor with suitcases is quite heavy. 
Despite it's very central location there is no noise from the street. Our room overlooked a courtyard. 
The rooms look like small apartments with all basic such as bed, bathroom and a small kitchen. It was a bit cramped, but for a short stay it's cozy.
The beds were fine, shower was poorly put together, but worked just fine.
Our sleep was dirstured by mosquitoes but that was the only downside.

Central apartment

Is Very cheap, very clean, very polite people, very cozy, very nice! Free Tea and coffee! The kitchen is well-ecquiped! The location is ideal! Few steps to the underground, in the centre of the city. Not far from the bar street!
