Upon arrival, Russian citizens must provide the original (not a copy) of one of the following documents: a valid Russian domestic or international passport, or driver's license. Front desk is open 24/7. Accommodation for children on request:
0-5 — free of charge from the Classic category with a view to the atrium.
6-7 years old — RUB 4000.00 from the category Superior Classic.

Since 06.07.2020, some changes have been introduced to the rules of operation of the spa complex at the Tsar Palace Luxury Hotel & SPA in order to improve the safety of guests:
- access to the spa complex and gym is only possible by appointment;
- the number of guests, as well as the time of stay in the spa complex are limited;
- to visit the SPA complex, guests must have rubber slippers, guests can bring them with them or purchase them at the SPA complex;
- the spa complex is open from 09:00 AM to 09:00 PM daily, and the gym is available around the clock
Parking is available at an additional cost and must be reserved in advance due to the limited number of places. The cost of renting a ground seat: RUB 1000.00, the cost of renting a place in the underground parking: RUB 2000.00. In case of charging an electric car, the cost of renting an underground parking lot will be RUB 2500.00. The number of seats is limited.
We remind you of the need to provide original documents for adults and young guests of the hotel upon check-in.
In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 18.11.2020 N 1853 "On approval of the Rules for the provision of hotel services in the Russian Federation" from January 01, 2021, children and minors can move into a hotel without parents only with the notarized consent of one of the legal representatives: parents, adoptive parents or guardians.
The security deposit for the entire period of stay in the hotel is RUB 10,000.00 for all room categories, except for the Imperial Suite and Presidential Suite categories. Deposit for the Imperial Suite category is RUB 50000.00. Deposit for the Presidential Suite category is RUB 100000.00.
This amount is provided upon check-in and is refunded on the day of departure from the hotel.
Access to the hydrothermal spa for room categories:
Classic and Superior — 1 session of the hydrothermal SPA zone: 1.5 hours per night of stay.
Junior Suite, Junior Suite Premier and Palace Suites — 2 sessions of the hydrothermal SPA zone: 2 times for 1.5 hours per day of stay.

The hotel is super elegant and luxurious. Staffs were helpful and helped us getting the tickets for Mariinsky Theatre.
What was bad
Only few staffs could understand English. But did worked it around with translator app.
