What was good

The best budget Apartment in the city. The location was amazing. Mini Market open 24 hours across from the building. Two blocks away from the Metro Station, pharmacy, restaurants and a Shopping Mall with a large Supermarket. You can walk in 20 minutes to “Kazan Cathedral”, that is located four blocks away from the “Church of Savior of the Spilled Blood. From that point you can walk an additional ten blocks to reach “Issac Cathedral “ and the “Hermitage Museum”. The apartment, located in a very old building, is very modern (new construction or renovated, hard to tell) was spacious, nice furniture, comfortable bed, good WiFi, Cool A/C, refrigerator, microwave, hot plate, and every you need to cook a meal, seating area, very nice bathroom with hot shower, laundry machine, extremely clean and very secured. The area is nice and safe. The best part was the service as Tatiana reply to my inquire between 5 minutes and allowed me to leave my luggage on the premises on my last day. Taxis in the city are very cheap and recommended. The Russian equivalent to Uber or Grab is “YANDEX”. As soon as you exit Customs at the airport, you will see a YANDEX Service Counter where they will help you download the application. The taxis can be trusted and their prices are very reasonable. US $ 9 or 10 to the Hotel. The Hotel doesn’t have any sign on the door but don’t worry. The Street is only one Block long so all you have to do is look for number 4 and proceed with the check-in instructions.
