Oniks Hotel is located in the historical center of Torzhok. On the site of the hotel there used to be an ancient settlement, protected by water lines: the Tvertsa River and the Zdorovets Stream. Within walking distance from the hotel are the main sights of the city: the Transfiguration Cathedral - 20 m, the Novotorzhsky Kremlin - 100 m, the city embankment - 150 m, the main observation deck of Torzhok - 300 m. The railway station is located 1.5 km from the hotel.

The hotel is located in an architectural monument of the 18th-19th centuries, in the house of famous Novotorzhsky merchants.
In 2022 the hotel was completely renovated. In the lobby of the hotel there is a mini-exhibition about the treasure, the Kremlin, which was on this site, and the medieval Novy Torg.
There is a local restaurant on site. On the site of the restaurant, a treasure from the time of Batu was found: jewelry and an ancient sample of Novotorzhskaya gold embroidery.
