This hotel lies on the highway between Moscow and St.Petersburg, about 200 km from Moscow. It is not fancy, but staff is friendly, it is clean, wherever you go, and it is and sufficiently far from the highway not to hear any road noise. Rooms facing a side road to the south, though, may be a bit noisy as this road, seen in one of the pictures, is not too far away. The dining room is quite large and if it is not too cold or there are not too many mosquitoes, there is outside seating that I can recommend. At the desk not everyone is fluent in English, but they do their best and that should be good enough. A bit further to the East down the side road is a place for horseback riding. Tip: when there, do not miss the Tchaikovsky Museum in nearby Klin.
