Situated at a good location with free parking spaces in front of the hotel and the funicular station 1 minute walking away. Note on the parking: we had one of the few parking spaces left during daytime and we were there out of season. 
Rooms are pretty basic, nothing special. There is no elevator, you will need to go up the stairs, which could be a bit challenging for the elderly.
Staff is friendly. Breakfast is ok but a bit limited in options.

They also run a restaurant on the ground floor. We had a good lunch (I can recommend the minestrone soup) and a tasty dinner there.

Not bad - not super good either

Hotel is in very good location at the foot of mountain, nearby cable-way station.  Room was big but not cleaned well. Many dust in many places, old and dirty curtain, dirty window. Few electric stocked was broken. Bathroom look like from different hotel, was completely new and extremely clean. Fridge was broken. Wifi worked fine. Plenty of free parking places nearby hotel. Staff was friendly. They have nice restaurant on site. Breakfast was very poor, which is strange in hotel with good restaurant.

Good location but many flaws

Stayed for one night, which happened to be the night of a local festival so we had a spot of other parking, but itall got sorted in the end. Once that was done we settled in. We had a room in the annex which was a minute away from the main building. Our room was clean and comfortable, and a good night's sleep was had. We ate in the hotel and had a super meal and lovely wine ant a good price. Nice breakfast the next day. The staff were friendly and hospitable and very adept at multitasking- managing to do check-inand check-out whilst serving in the bar at the same time. Unflappable.

Room 70 – 3rd floor, many stairs (50 plus) up a narrow staircase
We spent on night on our way from San Giovanni Rotondo to Venice, we had hoped to organize our luggage into small carry-ons in San Marino.  Since the stairs were so daunting we carried our luggage up one flight and used a window sill and the floor to rearrange our luggage for the following day.  
The parking situation was very confusing.  Purportedly the parking was included but since it was Wednesday and on Thursday there is a market, we had to move our car down the hill to the public parking lot and pay to park.  We were told to only pay 1 euro but the ticket only gave us parking for an hour or two – we were concern and put more money in.  
The room was very simple with twin beds, a desk and chair, fridge and cabinet for clothes.  Bathroom is renovated, the shower is very nice but the light near the shower is out.   
We could feel the springs in the bed, quite uncomfortable.  Also uncomfortable was the neighbours talking and having breakfast (?) at 0430.  There was apparently no sound proofing between their apartment and our bedroom.
Church bells ring until about midnight and there is some noise from the people in the square until about midnight – we didn’t find this overly bothersome.
The view from the room was ok and looking down the hill.  We had a view of the market in the morning. 
Breakfast was fairly good, ham, cheese, breads, fruit juice, coffee and yogurt.  
All in all, I wouldn’t stay here again.  It was, at best, mediocre.

Not a place I would recommend

Modern, clean, tidy and quiet, we were 3 people and our room was comfortable for all of us, bathroom great size and everything worked well, nice amenity's. It also hosts a restaurant which is very busy so avoid arriving during dinner service but once your settled in i suggest you walk around the little streets for 20 mins before enjoying a great meal in the restaurant. Very traditional and full of locals so speaks volumes. Free parking straight outside as well except on market day Saturday. Great Place with warm and friendly staff !!!
