Small hotel with fabulous staff! Donatella is an amazing host. She is super nice and friendly, as are the staff. The rooms are spacious and very clean and comfortable. The restaurant has great food and a fantastic view. We really enjoyed our stay and had fun chatting with Donatella in our broken Italian.

Wonderful Hotel and Staff

A day trip to San Marino and we decided upon having lunch here.  It was quiet and we were quickly seated, bread sticks were provided (but no bread given unlike every other table?).

We ordered two pizzas which were good, the service fast. The staff were neither rude nor friendly, more indifferent I'd say.

Toilets were small but clean.

It was okay without being great

Food only

It is only a small hotel but the room we had was fine with a good sized bathroom and a balcony with the most incredible views and we saw the most wonderful sunset ever. The hotel is well placed in the centre and not far from car parks 6 and 7.  The restaurant   for breakfast also has lovely views and breakfast was good.  We also had our evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent.  Hotel staff were very friendly and Donnatella came and introduced herself which was lovely.We really enjoyed our stay here, couldn't have had a better hotel, such good value for money. Thank you.

Very good value for money

Me, my partner and our friends went to San Marino and stayed at La Rocca. We were super impressed by the service level and hospitality of the hotel personnel. Donnatella is a star! Loved the ”can do” attitude she had when we explained that one of our friends had his 29th Birthday the next day and we wondered where we could buy a cake. She just said: ”no problem, I’ll fix!”. And she made a wonderful homemade cake for him the next day - it truly was a appreciated surprise!

Moreover, the view from the room was wow! Glad we stayed at La Rocca.

Wonderful view from the room and fantastic personnel!

I do not have one complaint about this hotel! It was cold and rainy when we were in San Marino, but the hotel was convenient to get to from the parking lot and then from there it was very easy to walk around the town. The heater worked great thank goodness and the room was very nice and clean. The view was amazing!! The reception was quite friendly and breakfast was plentiful. Definitely a great option for a San Marino stay.

Just Perfect

(Room 106) Good was very good, comfortable, cosy and warm during the winter seasons. Floors are cold unfortunately, don't recommend walking with bear feet. Instead wear warm socks or wear house shoes to walk around because the floor is made out of tiles. The room and toilets were clean, also we were provided more supplies; towels, soap, shampoo and toilet paper. Very nice view from room our room, you can see literally everything down below. We also went to the restaurant and ordered couple of dishes. One of the dishes I did not like was the 'Seafood Salad', had too much oil and toilet much calamari. Everything else was just fine but when it comes to having breakfast the next morning, there was nearly anything except bread, cheese, ham, yogurt and drinks... Hopefully they'll improve their breakfast menu.

Good Hotel & Hotels Restaurant

Me and my family ate in this hotel restaurant on the two nights we spent in San Marino and we were not disappointed.  The Manager and her staff were really friendly and very helpful with my "no salt" diet.  We all ate well and the food was superb and good value for what we paid.  We were not hurried and could enjoy the amazing view from the window seat that we had. Service was amazing, especially as they were so busy on both nights.
