As an Indian this place is an ideal place, as at the walking distance you have Indian market, with Indian food corner.
Rooms are neat and clean. staff are good and friendly. Room rent is not that costly compared to other.

it is very good location wise

Good Hotel with Average price point and surrounded by good Indian Restaurant. Even though the place is good to stay in but is far from the Intentional Airport, Business traveller will have to struggle a bit in terms of getting to the market places around city.

Good Place to Be at in the town

I was on a Business trip to Jeddah and stayed at The Golden Tulip Hotel. It is not at all upto standards of the other Golden Tulips in the Middle East
It needs a lot of refurbishment. Although the price they are charging is not too low but the hotel is very very below standard. I would not advise people who want Golden Tulip standard to stay here.
The rooms, the lift, the exterior, the lobby, Everything is very old.
The hotel is not worth staying at that price.

Business Visit to Golden Tulip Jeddah

Hotel is located near to the old city means it is far from International and loval airport.

This hotel requires a full renovation as everything seems already out of its expiry.

Rooms are dull and bathroom looks terrible.

Not many channels available on TV.

Only appealing thing frm this hotel is its restaurant.

In my opinion not recommended.

Poor experince with club Golden Tulip Jeddah

Very disappointing after check in. we had booked only on experience of your branch in hail. but really very very bad....... request you to go for renovation from ground floor till top. make the guest feel that they are in golden tulip. very unlearned & bad smelling rooms in fact entire  hotel with very bad smell.

We felt it was not GOLDEN TULIP

It's like home, it's like a prison, it stinks, it's stains on the mattress, it's like home.

I had to stay the night.

It's a nice building, but a little far from the shot, no luxury hotels, but with pleasant service, the staff are very hard-working, so please don't look out the window, because the surroundings are in need of major renovation.

This hotel is one of the worst places I've ever stayed in the world. You shouldn't be fooled by the official photos or the fancy reception in the 2 rooms I was in. The rooms are dirty; starting with the fingernails in the bed, a COMPLETTED rusty showerhead from which the first 5-10 minutes come in any way with only yellow-brown water and then you have only cold water, the air conditioning can't be turned off or turned off because in 2 rooms where I was in, the thermostat was obviously defective (except for the thermostat, the broken parts, etc.), and it's also very uncomfortable to worry about the fact that the first 15 minutes of the first 5 minutes are just yellow-brown water and then you have only cold water, the air conditioning can't be turned off or turned off because the thermostat was obviously defective.

Absolutely unacceptable

Either the staff at the reception are scammers and want to get rich or they're just stupid. At first they wanted me to take money for my fellow passengers. Although I had indicated this on the Internet and paid for it. Also, the hotel didn't know about my booking even after three days and didn't want money. It was only a complaint from easytobook that brought success.

Criminals

If you don't find anything else, you can stay here for the night, at least the cleanliness of the room was acceptable, even if the bathtub had certainly not seen skimming milk for years. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the bedding fresh. The level of maintenance is generally not very convincing. WLAN only in the lobby. Breakfast service is sufficient. The environment is terrible. Whoever booked on Thursday evening or even on Friday (also online) does not expect the hotel to find the reservation, because on Friday the service is not occupied.
