We've had to transit through this airport twice. Better not do that. The male staff are talking, if you can call it that, to the cattle. The room. The building itself, like a two-story barn hit by a wagon. A small waiting room for so many people. They sleep on the floor everywhere. The toilet is flooded.

Turn around on the tenth road.

The haj terminal which you are obligated to use if you are flying out of Jeddah to Pakistan, is as primitive an airport as I have seen anywhere. There are signs to guide you. Flights are not announced. The staff is rude and hostile.

People very courteous and polite, hence 2 stars.
Room dire. This is beyond the level of budget and basic and thank goodness I did not need to sleep in the room. I simply used it as somewhere to leave my luggage and then went to Arabia Mall to o work in a lovely coffee bar.

Few hours respite.

Apart from the situation near the airport, the bedrooms and bathrooms were in a pitiful state - torn curtains, upholstered tiles, dubious aorems on the chairs, and the spectacle of cockroaches walking around!

Scandalous

The hotel is near the airport. I was shocked It is very poorly maintained with unhygienic qualities. 

Service and food also not good with very limited choice of food. Would never recommend for staying any length of time unless desperate. 

This could have been a really nice hotel if it was properly maintained. Needs a refurbish. 

Sadly a Massive let down

Had a transit for 7 hour and during my journey to Riyadh from Malaysia. Met a friend who happened had her transit too. She was charged 450sr for a night. I decided i got to share the room with her and at least share the cost (they charged 550sr for 2 person room)! Luckily our room were on level ground. There were no hot water for shower. But gotta get through it cos i felt so muggy from all the travelling and humidity. Thanks goodness the linens are clean and smells good. I slept okay throughout the night even when I'm not feeling that well. Room condition is not the best especially for the price. Overpriced! It is an old building for sure. But not as horrible as some may mention it. I've seen worst :) but still i don't think the price suit the condition. Hopefully the management can do better to elevate the customer satisfaction.

Overpriced especially during the ramadan season.

I booked this hotel for a quiet room to sleep for three hours and a shower/shave afterwards. It was a quiet dark room OK, the sheets appeared cleaned but had a musky moisture smell, tolerable as this hotel is effectively underground. The room door could not be locked, the chain was falling off the lock, the slide bolt did not engage, so I had to prop-up the lock with the chair and my carry-on. The shower head sprayed water from every possible angle except through the holes, it took me a while to take the head off so I can shower. Availability of almost luke-warm water did not help shaving or showering. And this luxury costs AUD 140!

What a bad experience! Don't bother

It's a pity.The hotel is perfectly located but the facilities have not been properly taken care of for a four-star level, nor have the services that one would expect from a hotel of this category.It is noted that it has had a fairly careful and up-to-date aesthetic, but if it is not invested and renovated you find a hotel that you expect something from that you can't find for the price you pay.

Only one advantage; their situation.

The hotel is horrible, to be avoided absolutely, the rooms and bathrooms are in disastrous condition.

It's horrible

Despite a very convenient situation because it is close to the airport, it is a mild hotel worthy of a pass hotel, everywhere in ruins. Especially do not go there!!! The rooms have a carpet with dubious black spots, the food on offer is very limited, only breakfast can bring interest to those who like breakfast locally.
