A magical place in the midst of nature, of rare beauty. The lodge team, professional, is in the care of the clients, always with a smile.

In Paradise

If you want an alternative accommodation in a very special landscape, you're right here. The tree house is something else, but the furnishings - especially the shower (injected in all directions) - are not worth the price. For dinner, there is something on the table - no choice, not even a map that tells you what you're actually eating. The price-performance ratio is not at all right. You seem to want to make money here above all.

Great environment - but overpriced

On recommendation and after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor, we chose to come to lunch at this establishment. If the place is magical, the meal was very disappointing. Because even though during the week we didn't have a choice: a plate of raw, calamar and 3 chicken peas.

Disappointed

We found this place by chance looking for a restaurant for lunch during our walk around the area. It was a pleasant surprise because the place is gorgeous. An exceptional view of the lagoon while eating. A very good reception and very good service. Only bemool on Sundays is a unique and imposing dish. There is no map.

Very good restaurant.

My wife and myself lived in Senegal (Dakar) in the early/late 80s and are currently paying our first return visit touring around the country visiting some new and old haunts.

Our last 2 nights were spent at Les Collines De Niassam which is a collection of luxury ECO Huts (a word I use loosely) on a large, fast flowing river with an abundance of birdlife. It is owned and run by a delightful Frenchman who spent a year building the property 20 years ago. How he ever managed to find this site in the first place is beyond me but find it he did!!

The ‘huts’ are varied - some in trees and ours (Lagoon 3) is together with one other on a delightful small island that is only reachable by a double planked Walkway. No problem during the day (when the tide is often as not out) but challenging at night unless you deploy the excellent Guardian’s services! Once there, the huts are spacious with a comfortable bed (together with an excellent mosquito net) and a spacious bathroom - not hot water but it is tepid once you get accustomed to it!!

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinners are provided and all the meals we had were excellent with a good serving team on hand.

All in all, this was a most enjoyable experience and one I would certainly recommend to others provided they did their homework in advance. Rest assured you won’t be disappointed and a warm welcome awaits!!

Great Location which is completely at Peace with Nature!

We had spent three nights in a beautiful large bungalow on the edge of the lagoon, surrounded by baobabs. A relaxing atmosphere, attentive staff, charming owners, splendid vegetation, well-served meals with careful training, a full breakfast. You can go there with your eyes closed, it's hard to find some flaws. Some will roar about the cold water or the lack of light in the bathroom, or even the wooden pontoon to reach the bungalows, but we are in Senegal, and paradise is worth it. Otherwise, it's the impersonal tourist complexes of Saly that make mass tourism a joy for the roarers...

A little paradise in a green setting.

An alignment of boards to join in a few steps to beautiful cabins hanging on the lagoon, or at the top of a baobab, and where pelicans and multicolored birds invite you to contemplate this incredible nature, sleep and sunrise adding more! Even the cold shower participates in this pleasure, reminding us where we are: in the middle of Africa surrounded by men and women from the neighboring village who are ready to consider you more as friends than customers! Let yourself do... these ladies singing in the kitchen happily marry local and international cuisine... an animation team will be motivated by your desire to discover (from peaceful hyenas to peaceful battles through slideshow struggles) the pool will be filled with cool, and if you compose the carriages for the sweetness of the ocean, and how you will crawl for the sweetness of the water!

In the midst of all the luxuries

I went to this eco lodge to celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary, so as not to ruin the party I had to leave after only one night. (1) Hot water only on request (2) very basic meals, for the price paid (3) poor table service, (4) we had to ask ourselves the list of excursions that are excessively expensive (5) no soap and handkerchiefs to dry in the common bathrooms.

The price is not excused by the performance

The setting is spectacular and the person who serves the bar is excellent....But we ate an absolutely tasteless and poor menu and then in the pool we coincided with a family with two children who have not stopped screaming while the parents look at the phone.It has been a disappointing experience, neither peace nor tranquility...I think the staff should make it a peaceful place.

A ruined experience.

Being surrounded by nature and staying disconnected for days is an experience that I had never experienced before and that has seemed incredible to me. Everything is very clean. The food is very good, although it is French, you can't choose a dish (it is a closed menu without possible variations), something unimaginable if you have any food intolerance. But all over the country you don't contemplate such things, which are consistent. The masseuse does it acceptably well. Ah, and you have to shower or you have to load the cold water for the morning (azos, jajaja).
