Nice building in a nice, central location. The rooms are not modern, but are fine.  The air conditioning works well. The bathroom is nice. Yes, the water smells, but that is true of all of Kikinda. Bottles of water are provided free of charge. The wifi was weak in my room (112). The art on the walls is excessively kitsch, including a painting of a woman's feet. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The best part of the experience, in my opinion, was the breakfast. I received a "full English" and a cup of Turkish coffee, and it was quite good. The receptionist and the waiter speak English. I had to park 500 meters away (next to a playground) and pay for parking via sms.


Kitschy but Comfy in Kikinda

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel.Interior typic middle of last century, very fine renovated.Room small but fine, Reception working morning, afternoon managed by Bar staff in restaurant.personel very friendly, helping with parking fees.Restaurant has terase, grill, big TV, but missing zone for no smokers.Local draft beer available(good one). Card payment possible. Hotel don´t have parking. Breakfast simple, local and continental style.

Hotel and restaurant with good service.

Very cute and cozy establishment. The staff is very  friendly and the food was excellent. The rooms are nice and clean. Right out of our window we could see the owls that people come from all over the world to see that live in this little charming town. The location is right next to the town museum where you can see real mammoth remains that were found here. Overall very good experience, would recommend.

The hotel has a charming dining room and individually furnished rooms.
So far so good.
Unfortunately, the water in the bathroom was brown and had a really bad smell.
Hopefully, no guest uses it for brushing the teeth....
Sorry, but this is a “no go”!
The breakfast was OK, the price also.

Not evaluated here, but worth an additional remark: Dining here earns a recommendation.


Dirty water 💦 

We travelled here purely to see the birds in the town and surrounding countryside.
The hotel is quite basic but it's clean and warm. The public areas are very smoky but the bedroom was smoke-free which is a relief.
The bed was firm and had a rather nasty plastic under-sheet but the bedding was clean.
The bathroom was very basic with wall mounted dispensers for hand-wash and a piece of carpet in the hand held shower, presumably to stop you from slipping.
The worst thing about it is the water, which is common to the whole area so nothing can be done about it. It's oily and yellow and smells of sulphur and we found it really unpleasant. You can buy bottled water to drink but you have to shower and wash your hands in the tap water and it leaves a greasy residue which was very nasty.
Reception staff were not particularly welcoming or friendly but the maid and waiting staff were, which sort of made up for it.
The view out of the bedroom window included trees in which the owls roost, which made up for all the hotel's shortcomings. And the people in the town were unfailing friendly and welcoming which also made the trip very enjoyable.

Owl watching in Kikinda

I am going quiet often in Kikinda. The room have different styles. Be careful for rooms no. 102 till no.107 because they are above the restaurant. A lot of noise in the night. The decorations of the hotel is modern. They not pay anymore a parking for your car. You must find yourself a parking lot somewhere around and a store where they sell parking cards.

The hotel itself seems to be hidden at first. It has clean and spacious rooms, ideal for travelling with friends. Located in the middle of the city, there's a nice restaurent under it. / Elsőre elég nehéz megtalálni, eldugott kis szálloda, viszont kellmes, tágas, tiszta. A főtéren van, a földszinten kellemes étterem.

A nicely refurbished old building, with some modern design added without compromising the original. Clean rooms, very simple but comfortable. Restaurant is chic with a warm atmosphere and food and drinks are good. Service is very quick and staff is polite and helpful.

more than expected in Kikinda

Out of all the options out there in Kikinda this is the best one by far. 
Great location and really good swing into renovating an old building! I find it still amazing how ppl got used to the smell and the feel the water has (like you are bathing with gasoline :)) but hell, it is part of the experience. So if you are there enjoy it

by far the best in Kikinda

We stayed here for the famous long eared owls that roost in the main town square in Kikinda.  The owls were there in abundance when we stayed with up to 50 different owls in the trees virtually outside the hotel.  The hotel is great value, nice size rooms, fairly basic facilities but perfectly acceptable for the price.  Nice friendly check-in and well styled reception desk.  Parking was easy in a nearby street.  Good pizza restaurant and nice bar with enormous portions and again fantastic value.  Not sure why you'd visit Kikinda apart from the owls but we found the experience really unusual and exciting.
