Our 3-night stay at Milojevic household in Lopatnica was absolutely great from beginning to end. First the hostess Biljana is truly wonderful. She cooked elaborate breakfasts and dinners for us using many fresh ingredients from her garden (vegetables, etc.). She makes cheese, yogurt and even bakes her own bread. She is also artistic (ask her to show you the book of guest impressions, the cover of which she carved herself). The rooms are very nicely furnished with comfortable beds, tasteful furniture, sheepskins on the floors. The swimming pool on the property is great. It is fed by local spring water which contains magnesite and is supposed to have many curative properties (good for depression, arthritis). At night you can see the stars since the household is in a very rural setting. The rooster may wake you up in the morning. The cat Tom is very friendly and would sometimes curl up next to us at dinner time. We would love to return for another relaxing stay at Milojevic household someday and recommend it strongly. 

The only downside was that we could never get a clear answer as to the price of accommodations. Upon booking she told us that the prices were as per the booking.com website but later said that these prices were no longer valid. Even at checkout we did not get any receipt.

Peaceful and wonderful

We really enjoyed our stay in Lopatnica. The farm is surrounded by green hills and farmland. There are sheep, cows, chicken, and geese. A very peaceful and rural environment indeed. It is also ideally located because all the main attractions of the region can be reached easily (Zica monastery, Golija mountains, Gradac monastery, Studenica monastery, Sopocani monastery, Maglic fortress, and so on).

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the agrotourism very pleasant, the family very hospitable and warm-hearted. There's also a natural swimming pool where you can spend the day when it's too hot.

To get there from Kraljevo, follow the road to Raska (Ibarska magistrala), turn right at the Bugotovacka Banja sign (Lopatnica is not indicated!) and follow the road until it's not tarred anymore. On the right, there's a big sign you can't miss.

Thumbs up for Biljana because she's a great cook who prepares delicious meals.

Great place and great host

I would like to recommend a place to stay in the country if you want a good base to see the monasteries near Kraljevo  in Serbia (Gradac, Zica, Studenica, Sopocani and the fortress of Maglic). The Domacinstvo Milojevic is the village of Lopatnica and  is a  small working farm. They have several pleasant rooms with their own bathroom and a small pool with mineral water. It is a great place to stay with children  but you will need your own transport. No restaurants around but the owner will cook all the meals for you.
