The staff is considerate and always happy to help with anything you might need. They were very careful to ensure that the food they made didn't contain anything we are allergic to. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable. The indoor pool is not huge, but it's big enough to swim in, and you can also use the sauna or the other exercise equipment they have. The woods close to the hotel are lovely to walk through, I just wish they had more benches. I also really enjoyed how close the hotel is to Ergela Kelebija. We will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful place to stay!

Villa Majur is really nice hotel with nice big rooms, nice garden and small but beautiful indoor pool which you can use all day. Everything is clean and well maintained. Restaurant is really good, with good food and great waiters. Receptionists are friendly and attentive, always ready to help. Sincere recommendation.

Very nice hotel

We visited Restaurant of Hotel vila Majur and had a very special and tasty meal... Property is situated at very nice location. We are couple and had few days vacation in Subotica. We have memorable experiance...

Villa Majur is located near Hungarian border ...
villa has a nice potential as it has big surrounding garden which is not groomed enough and does not have benches, sea saws, swings and other child fun ...

rooms are nice, big bed and nice bathrooms ...

breakfast is ok, but restaurant is bit smelly from cigars ...

pool isn't hot enough and not big enough to swim ...

if someone put some effort to this villa it would be great ...

Diplomatic-style medium to small hotel with swimming pool, sauna (ask receptionist to turn it on) and...wonderful unplugged charming string band in the evening...my warmest advice is to enjoy one of two specialties (lovely trout from local farm or cordon blue),...forget the rest from menu, they would tell you the same. Red and white wines are local unbranded, home-made,..different, don't expect much, but enjoy authentic local taste...english is low, but the staff are enjoying their jobs, ask for terrace waiter ("Gule" will take care of you in the old fashioned waiting manner)
Be early for breakfast buffet, don't wait...
Rooms and amenities are clean and well maintained, no old stuff, there's enough towels and shampoos, hairdryer and little things, don't worry about water smelling a bit strange, that's ok, just don't drink it from tap...ask for room with more private balcony position, some rooms almost share  balcony...
Great escape or driving stop before or after border with Hungary.
I will go back there for sure


You can't ask for more

nice rooms, good restaurant, peaceful enviroment. The company that runs the hotel also runs a big farm with Lipizanerhorses wich is located near the hotel and nice to visit. The surronding area is green and beatiful.

It is pity that smoking inside public areas is still allowed in Serbia. This is terrible. You can't imagine the smell at the restaurant. Especially when you're with small kids. The bathrooms could be maintained better. The garden was ok but not safe for kids. 

Smelling restaurant

Fantastic place to get away from the city! Food is great, the staff is discreet and nice and rooms spacious and clean. There is a small pool to chill and nice little park outside the hotel. Just across the hotel is horse stable where you can get a horseback ride or maybe romantic carriage ride.
