I was part of a tour group so this place was chosen by the tour company and was really just to break up a journey between one place and another on the tour itinerary. When I first saw the entrance and the rooms I was delighted, really quirky and full of oak beams and creaky floorboards. The room I had was very spacious and great bathroom although only hand towels were provided and there were bottles of, I assume shampoo and shower gel but it was difficult to be sure as the bottles were unidentified. Unfortunately it was at the front of the property which lies on a very busy road so I had no sleep whatsoever due to the traffic noise. The road seems to be a main road for freight so it wasn't just cars but heavy lorries that trundled past at all hours of the night. Such a shame as it's a lovely place but overall you do need to sleep rather than have nice furniture. Dinner was very hearty with big portions and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was more disappointing as there wasn't much choice, no black tea and coffee was disgusting. There are couple of shops along the road where you can pick up snacks for your onward journey. This was the only place in Serbia where I got eaten alive by mosquitoes.

Looks good but noisy so no sleep

I stayed here as part of an organised tour so did not choose this hotel.

This is effectively a roadside stop used by people travelling around Serbia and needing a place to stay. It’s situated right on a busy road and suffers badly from traffic noise (except for from around midnight to 0500)

There is no check-in per se. It’s a restaurant with rooms above, so the owner will meet you by the bar and show you to the room. All rooms are accessible by steps and there is no lift. My room was on the second floor and right at the front of the hotel. It’s all quite basic, however it is clean and the room was warm with air con if you needed it. TV in the room but only local channels. Bed was comfortable but bedding poor. Bathroom clean and lots of hot water, however only hand towels. No mini bar or tea/coffee making facilities. WIFI in the room.

The decor is like an old inn, lots of wood and decoration. But only recently built.

Unfortunately, due to the traffic noise I did not get a good night’s sleep.

We ate dinner at the hotel. The food is simple home cooked style, which was very tasty and with good sized portions, plus also cheap. Breakfast was a simple buffet.

Locally there are a couple of mini markets with basic groceries and snacks as well as a bakery and a couple of local restaurants and bars.

Basic roadside stop

Kada pitate sta je kafana, odgovor je... ovo je kafana. Ambijent, hrana, usluga, muzika... kafana!

When you ask what a kafana is, the answer is ... this is a kafana. Ambiance, food, service, music ... kafana!

Stayed here as part of a tour. The hotel itself was good, the staff and owner very helpful. The hotel style is certainlty very unique. Whilst in a quiet location I was unlucky to have a room that faced the road so did get a fair deal of road noise. I can`t imagine anyone staying here other than as an overnight stop over as there is little to do around the hotel but had a pleasant meal and drinks there that evening.

Nice roadside hotel

Traditional style hotel, lots of wood panelling. Rooms comfortable and well equipped, good local style breakfasts, and evening menu full of typical Serb dishes. For a roadside hotel it was really quite quiet. If you want bottled water for the rest of your journey, there are a couple of minimarkets just up the road, on opposite sides of the road.

Atmospheric and hospitable

Average to good place. We stopped over for a lunch. Food acceptance quality. Seating place outside during summer is not good at all and A.C. is not that good inside either. Place needs some renovation to attract more people

Very pleasant hotel, room looked recently redecorated in a quirky style, lots of paintings adorn the walls in the hotel, heavy on ornaments too. Breakfast was fairly good, served at the table, omlette, meats, bread and jam, the usual. The downside is that the hotel is seemingly in the middle of nowhere on a main road to somewhere. But we ate in the next town as it had been booked by our tour guide.
