Everything is perfect. Pools are nice, with hot clean water. Outstanding breakfast, nice meals in the restaurant, feel like at home. Friendly staff, very comfortable nice rooms.
There are some outdated reviews.
We have returned from hotel Mlavske Terme yesterday, more than satisfied. We are paning to come back soon.
Avoid to be in the hotel on weekend, best time monday to friday.

Wonderful place

This is a winter aquapark, which means it can be used throughout the whole year. The best thing about this place are its staff - they are always ready to meet guests' wishes.

The food is another excellent feature - national and local dishes with lots of home-made delicacies.

At weekends the place is very crowded, try to avoid it esp. on Saturdays when many organized tour packages visit the spa. If you need rest and a few days far from the city buzz, go to Zdrelo during week days. 

It is advisable to check (esp. on weekend nights) if they have special events organized (e.g. weddings, parties), because during these events the music is so loud that it is impossible to sleep in the rooms. And not only because of loud music, but the floor in the room was vibrating due to the high volume. I couldn't sleep until 3 am, that's when the band stopped playing.

The pools are nice and warm, just make sure that when you visit the quietness and relaxation are there as well.



This is THE WORST 3 star hotel in the WORLD (3 stars are at the entrance).
Rooms:
- wooden furniture is decaying from moisture
- bathroom ceiling plastic, warped out and dirty 
- shower doors missing
- smallest TV in the world
- window frames all dirty
- mirror frame all warn out and peeling away
Pools:
- rust everywhere (showers, gullys...)
- tiles missing
- 2 clocks (all of them) now working
- sunbeds broken (some, not all of them)
- water all muddy at closing time
- disinfected with chlorine that is manually added in buckets over night
- no control of water composition
- got small burns from chlorine (went too early in the pool, not all chlorine had dissipated, UNSAFE)
- full of some black hair (like someone lost a wig in it, something that chlorine cant kill)
Restaurant:
 Paid meal (lunch):
 - full of flys (you will see why)
 - waiter 19y old, puffing when you need a minute to decide
 - no fresh juices, only Coke and other garbage
 - over priced (waay overpriced)
 - serving time - forever
 - soup (only one on menu) sour, oily, with tiny peaces of meat (with fat on them)
 - cutlery - dull
 - main course cold
 - meat stinks
 - dressing - peal from cucumber (garbage)
 - chicken nuggets (advertised on speakers as specialty) with skin of course, full of cartilage and small bones, filled with some dried out vege cheese (cheapest one)
 Breakfast:
  - leftovers from yesterday
  - smelly eggs
  - worst smelly hot-dogs
  - over 50 meals that no one wanted yesterday, at least flys didn't matter, there were a lot
  - juice again not fresh but orange extract (cheapest one)
  - coffee - the worst filter coffe you will ever taste with some fully looking bubbles, with of course Nesscaffe written on machine. 
  - i left hungry i bought an ice cream that had no prices on, so I had to ask around if they didn't overcharge me (nice for strangers, they can charge them 5-15E for ice cream, just a guess)

You would not believe that we actually paid to be in this hotel Transylvania. Maybe that's what is was!? You cant really tell because some of the letters from hotel sign were also missing.

To sum it all up: PURE HORROR!!

Pure horror

Place is terrible. Very dirty everywhere, rooms, pools, bathrooms etc...very poor customer service..they not listening quest at all..they seems like we used that place for free and we can get what they gave us..but they not offer nothing..restaurant very expensive and food there is awfull..very very bad place and for your money better dont come there. I will not come for sure with my familly there..

Zdrelo Castle

I really do not know how to explain why there are rates higher than 2 for this place... We booked a room as we have little baby and 5 year old kid. Check in was from 1 PM so when we arrived pool was extremely overcrowded, we asked if there is some free sun-beds for guests of hotel, they were like first come first served, it does not matter if you are hotel guest or not. The second thing was that when you want to move from pool to pool you have to pass cafe where everyone smokes, and when you combine smoke, heat and steam you can imagine how it is. Usually when everything is terrible, there is food to make it better (I expected some domestic tasty food), but in this case that did not happen as food was also terrible. Anyway idea is great, but whoever give permission to use natural goods of Serbia to owner of this place deserves prison.

Overcrowded pool and smoking everywhere

Pros: Fantastic open pool with thermal warm water accompanied with fresh snow ,
very good cleanness, miscellaneous budget breakfast, 
Cons:
 unbearable heat in rooms overnight( one can easily sleep with a fully opened window without facing any fear of catching cold)  too many corridors, overcrowded on weekends, inappropriate allowed smoking in the spa area( ????????)

Avoid weekends !

Nice place for relaxation but olnly from mondey to friday. On a vikend it is to much crowd on a pools. Nice and clean rooms. Very good restulaurnt and food. Little expencive. Shame that in a price of room you can't have dinner. Pools are clean. Four different pools with different temperature of water.

Good

I stayed in this hotel with my family in November 2014. Hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, outside Petrovac. Main activity in hoel is enjoying great water park and swimming pools with warm spa water that enables you to swimm outside even in winter. Rooms are clean and nice, although no balconies. What bothered me was deposits that they insisted on...when checking in you should make deposit for potential future services!! If you want towels or robes, you should put deposit again....
Swimming pool is overcrowded during weekend. No control of number od people and spa capacity. Restaurant is decent.

My problem was that I came with 1-year old baby and in all the swimming pools it was banned to bring in children under 3 . No baby cot was available, no high chair in the restaurant..reallz not baby friendly :(

Stuff is friendly and helpful, especially nie girl Dusica on the reception and Stefan the waiter.
Nice destination for one night citz getaway, bt nothing more.
