Four Seasons Resort Seychelles

The sky, the ocean, the mountainside layout, and the friendliness of the staff combined for a great 5-day stay. The snorkeling and water access via a stunning powder white sand beach was a highlight. The water was among the brightest blue I've ever seen, and the beach ultra clean and safe. The underwater scene changed throughout the day, but it always felt like being in a magic aquarium. We also enjoyed swimming laps in the 30M pool, which was seldom used by other guests. There was plenty of shade and seating, and frequent attention from the fun and friendly beach staff (kudos to Marita, Edwin, Portia and others who looked after us). The breakfast buffet, service and setting were outstanding. We dined twice in the ZEZ Bar for Indian cuisine and thought it was tasty. Mary Rose was a delightful roving hostess. Housekeeping was flawless, unseen and frequent. We appreciated the kind gestures of wine, fruit, a Thanksgiving desert, tropical iced tea and other amenities that frequently appeared in our room while we were enjoying the beach. The front office team was on professional point and very friendly. We were grateful that James was able to arrange accommodation for us to work around our flight arrival and departure times. He and Mohammed also capably handled a minor facilities issue we experienced in our villa. WhatApp chat made it easy to communicate. We rented a vehicle, which was parked without charge just inside the resort gate, a short buggy ride from the villa. We enjoyed exploring the island and seeing the local residents. The driving was bit daunting sometimes, but we found everything orderly, comfortable and picturesque outside the resort gates. Overall an excellent stay and a reasonable value for the money.
