The hotel is run by an old friendly couple who will go out of the way to help you. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was very memorable. Breakfast is decent. Only issue is that the hotel and the rooms are a bit small and rooms dont have wifi (you have to go to the lobby). Overall good place!

Friendly hotel!

We stayed at this place for 2 nights, the family which runs this hotel are wonderful and warm people. They believe in making their hosts very comfortable, i had long chats at the end of our days there over varied interesting topics. There is small swimming pool which is immaculate and hygienic. Rooms are normal sized with mostly two beds fit in. Tv catches reception. There is a tiny porch area outside each room, kind of a lounging area. This hotel is every near to various eateries like a Spanish pizzeria, a sri lankan cafe, another family restaurant. Bus stop and super markets are at walking distance. This hotel offers a very relaxed and reasonable stay. Very close to a fishing beach.

Quaint little homely hotel, very french!

Had issue with no hot water in the room. Ended up having a very cold shower the first night. Asked to change room but the lady in charge became very difficult and refused at first. She suggested I showered in another room but not to change room. When I said I would leave, she allowed me to change room. She seemed to be an unhappy lady; this makes the atmosphere unpleasant. The room was old and in poor condition. Breakfast is not worth the extra payment. Fruits provided were overripe and some bits of hard coconut were provide as well. Plus omelette and coffee, jam and two piece of hard toast. Would not stay there again.
Also, many rules and regulations. If you need help after 8pm, there is nobody around. 
Wifi is not available in the room.
I stayed four nights and my room was cleaned and made up on one occasion only.

Lack of acces to kitchen facilites such as kettle, cuttlery and other utensils. The host switched off all sockets during our absence, so I could not charge up my electronic devices. 
The host cleaned our room every morning but we noticed she is coming to our room in our absence without prior notice.
The breakfast was poor: *friut plate ( quater of ornage, hard coconut "flakes", dry and tastless 3 pices of different kinds of coconut and quater of small apple 😂 :,)) that is portion for 2 :,)  shamelles
*3 tsp jam
* U can have coffe or tea (but i dont know how  many cups, because we had our own coffe, milk and sugar) but i think is limited
* 2 eggs
* 2 toasts
* 2 slices of butter,
* almost same every day.
Mr. of hotel charged us 50SCR for two cups of hot water to prepare caffe, also made me feel guilty for using to much water for our morning beverages one time. Unfortunately if you are waking up at 6am, you have to wait till 8am for your caffe or tea.
All family is very grumpy. No smile. Mr is very problematic, Lady of home looks very unhappy and son never say even "hi"  when breakfast is during. That is very discouraging to stay in this place.
Massive 5 positive points for having a swimpool, because Grand Anse Area is like small village with very average beach and is no  place to spend some time in the evening. Waiting time for bus to Anse Lazio can be even  1.5h. We can't recomend this place.
I am not a picky person and I am very reluctant to write bad reviews but this situation was very uncomfortable and was disturb my holiday time.

Think twice

We stayed at C’est Mon Choix for 3 nights. We arrived by bus, which is a 2 minute walk to the hotel. We were welcomed with a drink on arrival, and got an upgrade to a family room so we had plenty of space. The rooms are basic indeed, but our room was very clean, and all rooms had been repainted recently. The beds are also very comfortable. Lionel and his family are very welcoming and helpful people, eager to talk and tell you everything you need to know about the Seychelles. In addition to the nice breakfast, we got delicious breadfruit chips, omelets with fresh herbs from the garden, and also got to taste refreshing coconut water and germinating coconut which you will never find in those big resorts. If you are used to staying in five star hotels, this hotel will probably be too basic. But if you like to get in touch with the local culture and prefer a personal approach, I guarantee you’ll have a wonderful time!
