The Owners and taxi driver were very ignorant and thought of my wife and I along with other tourist as just atms. The whole time we stayed they only spoke badly of all other places as if theirs was "perfect" Im letting everyone who even considers this a place a stay to just do your research and find out on your own. In my opinion they just arent the place we will being stay at because we were on vacation not their therapists...

Not The Nicest People

Amazing place to stay in Praslin, definitely the best accommodation we stay in Seychelles with most friendly staff you can  imagine;) From the moment we arrive in Chalet Anse Possession we felt like at home( in the middle of jungle, few meters from the beach ). Owner Geralda was so kind, caring and she make sure everything was spot on. We travel as a group of friends 4 adults and 3 children and our Villa was more than enough for us. Beautiful decorated with everything what we need it, kitchen was well equipped, bathroom and bedrooms spotless clean. We celebrate my boyfriend 40th Birthday and special Thank you for 2 ladies who prepare beautiful decorations and organise a delicious Birthday Cake. Amazing tropical surroundings with 5 giant turtles in the garden.  We wish we could stay longer, 5 nights definitely wasn't enough. Thank you Geralda, Melisa and Jennifer for making our stay in Chalet Anse Possession unforgettable. We definitely come back in nearest future.

I came many times at Chalets Anse possession, and they are GREAT. I can't wait to come back again.
The traditional houses Geralda rents are super cute, you're in a paradisiac garden, with big turtles around you.
Since recently, Refrigerated water is complimentary, and that's a huge step for the environment and for the attractivity.
In my opinion, no need to go in international hotels like Lemuria or Raffles. Life at Geralda's is simple and authentic. Fiona and all the team are adorable.

We are very grateful for the wonderful support we received before and during our stay in Chalets Anse Possession. The accomodation itself is good and the most important equipments are there. We could use the laundry of the chalet next door free of charge. Thanks to Melissa, Cliff and Keven for always being helpful. In this bay there are no shops nearby and without car you need to take the bus or walk along the mainstreet, which is possible. We walked all the way up to Anse Lazio. Cliff always offered to drive us to any places on the islands and gave us a lot of information about the island, the people, local food etc. 

Great location

Best service ever. We were treated like family. Had a spacious house with 2 bedrooms , large kitchen tv/ lounge and large veranda.

They made our vacation special.

The house is located by the beach, equipped with 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and terrace, fully equipped kitchen.  We cooked ourselves, although it is possible to order catering. Fiona is a great hostess, always helpful.  She greeted us with a basket of fruit and a bottle of Prosseco.  Pros - location by the beach and bus stop, 3 km from Anse Volbert beach - a place where there are several shops and take away (which I definitely do not recommend - curry with chicken is rather curry with bones).  Chalets has its own, extensive range for turtles, they have really good conditions here compared to what we saw in the Seychelles ... In Praslin there is no point in renting cars, everywhere and quickly can be reached by bus (ticket costs 7ruppies) From beaches recommendable - Anse  Georgette (high waves and great fun) - on this beach we organized a mountain trip -Zimbabwe-Anse Georgette definitely worth having a navigation and good training shoes-trip for advanced, Anse Volbert (beautiful, the largest beach in Praslin), when it comes to the most  known-Anse Latio-definitely overrated ... Praslin pros - beautiful beaches, small island, everywhere can be reached on foot or by bus. Minuses - one week stay is long enough, then it can be boring - for active Mahe - more mountain trips and interesting things to see  , although there are also minuses, for example - traffic🙂.  Car rental is needed at Mahe. Snorkeling and diving in Seychelles is rather poor comparing with Egipt, Maledives and Indonesian.

First of all I have to say that communication before our arrival was really great, I had a few questions after reading some of the reviews, but all were answered quickly and we decided to book the smallest and most affordable chalet for our 4 night stay. It is not as small as it seems from the outside and is comfortable enough for 2 adults and a child. It has a small, clutter free and functional kitchenette and for us it was sufficient to prepare some meals, including fresh fish we bought right by the beach! 
We especially loved the garden with the tortoises!
The host was very nice and brought us home grown fruits almost every day. It was also interesting to find out that the chalet is actually named after the Seychelles national bird and we managed to see one when visiting the nature park. 
The bus stop is right by the road and the beach is great, especially for younger kids. Some better beaches like Lazio beach are in the area as well. 
It might be good to know that there is a small shop on a pretty steep hill with all the basic necessities. It took us less than 5 minutes to walk to the shop.
We decided to eat at the guesthouse on our last evening and the food was very tasty.
Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable!

Clean and cozy chalet

Be careful because the good references are probably the most expensive rooms. We stayed in a ''chalet'' that looked more like a second hand shop. We felt in the middle of many bulky waste. I was disgusted to sit on the sofa. Our terrace had 4 tables, 2 camping chairs, 4 old sofas and many other chairs, until now we dont know if the entrance to our ''chalet'' was the waiting area. There is no real kitchen, there was an old mini stove on top of the refrigerator and you need to turn it off to use the toaster because there is not enough power plug. The dishes stand on top of an old broken office desk and you need to wash the dishes in the sink outside. Besides that, it was far from everything, expensive to go to the airport, you will not receive information about anything and you will feel in a camping. After traveling for twenty days in three islands paying the similar price for the accommodations, we had the displeasure of choosing to stay the last two days in this place because of the good references of booking.com.
Stay away! You will find for sure a better place.

Horrible

Stayed here for 2 nights. Was self catering but we didn’t really have a kitchen so we were unable to cook. WiFi was not good. It wasn’t expensive but it’s worth paying a little bit more to be able to cook or just have a decent place to hang out on when you are on vacation.
