The hotel has recently undergone full renovations and is up to standards with nice restaurant, rooms and airport service. WiFi, AC etc works. Would disregard previous reviews as the upgrade is complete. Contact via what’s app for a booking

Nice hotel

My wife and I stayed here for three night before flying back to the UK in early March. It is awful. The staff don't speak or smile and payment is expected upfront - $100 a night! The rooms aren't awful but they have "minor" problems such as flooding toilets (we had to change rooms), poor excuse for AC, poor WIFI and non-working plug sockets. Staff knocked on the door at one point to take ice from the fridge for the bar! The TV cable was basically stuck into a wall NOT a plug socket! Surprisingly or not the restaurant was always deserted and limited barely edible food available. No-one offered to help us with our luggage when we were leaving or even said goodbye. We wondered why there were so few guests but many soldiers staying there. Well it's now the FORCED quarantine centre for returning Sierra Leoneans. It's disgusting the way people are being treated. The only good thing about this hotel is it's proximity to the airport. Avoid avoid avoid! Management have responded to older comments saying changes were being made. We saw no improvements.

Horrible in every way

I have been traveling into Sierra Leone since 2001.  While this hotel is nothing to write home about, it does have consistent power at night and the AC works well.  If you have those two in a place like Lungi you have a keeper.  

The best at Lungi Airport

Stayed here with three friends for two nights.  Our rooms were clean and cool.  The restaurant served decent breakfast and dinner.  The wifi was unreliable, and only available in the lobby.  Staff were helpful.

Basic hotel conveniently located by airport

Transfer form generator to EDSA or vice-versa and the A/C goes crazy and wakes me up at 7:30 a.m. 8 showers over the weekend, only 2 warm, one of them from a bucket... Swimming pool, barely see through, and on Sunday, forget quiet, by 17:00 the huge speaker comes out and bye-bye the quiet. The food is good though but the coffee, forget it.

Too expensive compared to quality

Stayed here as our flight arrived in the afternoon and we didn’t want to catch the ferry at night. 

Had potential, but the bar has limited drinking options especially in relation to mixes for rum, whiskey etc as Fanta and sprite not great options. 

Breakfast was included in the price but when we first arrived there was not much in the way of choice ie half a bowl of cereal, a few baked beans and some bread for roasting with no butter or condiments. As we sat there further food started to arrive including banana bread and cooked onions, plantain bananas, tomatoes and the option for scrambled eggs. Of course no advice about menu options. 

The room was interesting with locks on the outside of the shower which was pretty bad. 

At least the rooms had air conditioning and, the beds were excellent and comfortable. 

Crumbling Run Down Hotel

Extremely expensive for what you get. Positives - bed comfortable, nice sheets, good towels and big rooms. Hot water and clean water out of shower
Negatives - no point for mosquito nets as holes everywhere, no lock on bathroom door but on the shower!, shower a trickle at best. 

Internet only works intermittently in reception only. I tried 5 power points before one had power connected! Bar had beer and a bottle of rum and Fanta. Rum and Fanta anyone? The bar at the pool had more in the bar fridge. 

Breakfast not great. Hardly any food, nor cutlery or plates! However if no food then no point having these things right? Ha ha. Instant coffee only. 

The staff are nice enough. Their motto is “pride of Sierra Leone” but not sure they know what that is. It’s Africa right? We had a laugh and used it as amusement and left happy ha ha
