Ok, yes, there are a lot of stairs..
However, the room was lovely and clean; comfortable and quiet considering you are smack in the middle of the old town. Staff were helpful and friendly. As long as your knees are good, just consider the stairs as a way of burning off all the beer!

Right in the middle of everything 

Stayed here in December and went back again in January. Clean rooms, inexpensive and in a great location. Friendly staff.  Very good base to explore Bratislava from and most bars, restaurants etc. are all in easy walking distance. Will be staying here again.

Cheap rooms in a great location!

The hotel is part of a arcade , which has a number of other businesses located within. this shouldn't put you off as the hotel is clean and very friendly. Yes you pay in cash on arrival. and yes they will also take a payment on your card a few days before you arrive and then refund. 

As for the arcade you will notice that there is a strip club in the basement and a thai massage parlour on the second floor. some shops that i didnt see open and a bar thing that is great value. 

Ok all that aside !! its a great value stay and you are in the "very" central of the old town so walk out the door and your right where you need to be, 

you will not get better value for money with this location.

Strange but central location but great value for money.

This Hotel is in a great location right in the center of old Town. Very Noisy at weekend not too bad Midweek. Very Clean old world as title says a lot of stairs to climb no lift in this building Hotel is on top Floors.Staff very helpful. Room very spacious with floor fan provided.

Great place to stay, perfect for the city etc. Stairs a bit hard to cope with when alcohol has been consumed but that's not a problem and mostly amusing when watching friends try to get up them. At the end of the day, its a really old building. 
Service was great, rooms were lovely and mine was huge, all 11 of us could have slept in there.
Anyway, had a great time there. Cheers.

Brilliant and in an ideal spot.

Hotel located inside some galleries, very poorly signposted.
They only accept cash, they don't have a dataphone.
The rooms are incredible and comfortable, very beautiful.
The attention was bad and the price somewhat high.

CASH ONLY

We booked the hotel as it was central , just a couple of problems they dont take visa cards etc to pay for booking only cash which can be a problem also no lift and the stairs are leathal if you have dodgy knees , the rooms are clean and massive , but if your in the frontrooms by the main walkway  the noise at night after 2pm is shocking as the windows are like tissue paper and you hear everyone singing and shouting as they leave and enter the bars and clubs  , so request another room , apart from that it fine 

Wifes birthday 

We visited this hotel this month for a long weekend and we chose it purely based on location. It’s in a fab spot the main square where the Christmas markets is just along and there are lots of bars and restaurants around as it’s very central. 

We enjoyed our trip here and would possibly stay again however the big negative is the stairs. The hotel reception is on the 4 floor and there isn’t a lift -all the rooms are up or down and up again from reception. Our room was right up in the attic and was reached directly from reception which was another negative as basically any talking in reception sounded like it was in our room!  The steps are pretty steep too and you get in via a little shopping centre passage which also has a Thai massage -although I have to say this caused no issues we did not see our hear anything odd at any point. I am pretty fit and go to the gym 5 days a week and still found the climb to our room challenging!  

Our room once we reached it was pleasant although I am not too keen on single beds but it was a very long thin room given it was in an attic so single beds were probably best suited to it. Our room was very spacious but a lot couldn’t be used due to the roof pitch we had 10 velux windows in the bedroom alone and 2 in the bathroom. I was a little disappointed to have a big wardrobe and only 3 hangers and one drawer had no bottom in so couldn’t be used and others were very stiff -luckily as we were only visiting for a long weekend this didn’t cause too many issues. The bathroom was a bit of a challenge as due to the roof line they had put in a bath but it was very small and a shower head but it wasn’t big enough to have a bath and you could only stand up in one end for a shower and the shower head was very low -just above waist height and there was no curtain or screen so you had to shower knelt up and the floor at the side got very wet!  Thankfully they did look to wipe the floor up everyday. The tv didn’t work in our room as we tried it to dull out the long phone conversation that was going on in reception one night!  But luckily we didn’t actually want to watch tv!

That said it was quite an attractive room nicely decorated it looked to have some original features retained though we weren’t quite sure what they were or meant and wasn’t dark as it had so many windows even though we left the blinds as they were down. There was a large fan for summer time as I suspect it gets hot, although the temperature was pleasant from the heating not to hot or cold which is good as we couldn’t control it and we had a tea tray which they stocked up sometimes and was clean enough -although my sister had a chair that was badly broken on arrival in her room, the chair had been lent up against the dresser and she questioned how the cleaner couldn’t have seen it was broken way beyond repair - did they not clean throughly or did they know and you question if they new why they left it?????  There room as a side note was a floor lower, had a proper shower and a super king bed so it really is the luck of the draw!! 

Great location but only if you are ok with steps!

I stayed during a three-day business trip. In general, the hotel was ok. Location was good, rooom was clean, and the staff was polite (although I did not have to interact with them too often). What I did not like was wi-fi. It was weak in my room. I struggled to even make a voice call through WhapsApp, not to mention a video call.

Other unpleasant things were the hookah smell that was all over inner court because of the hookah place downstairs and the hooker-in guys from the stip clubs in the basement. One may argue that those problems were not caused by the problem, yet that's a very cold consolation.

Good place to stay for a leisure or business traveller

Stayed for 3 nights in June.This Hotel is as central as you can get.Lots of Bars and Restaurants all around, on the main pedestrian route through the City.The room was clean and OK. Only downsides are there are some stairs involved and staying in June the room was very hot with only a fan provided.I would stay here again if I came in a cooler month,However in the Summer the room was a bit unbearable at night to sleep as so hot.
