Actually, I had chosen the hotel for a business trip to Kosice based on the photos - and I wasn't disappointed. Located in the middle of a residential area, the hotel is actually more of a museum than a hosting business. The facilities are twisted and not really clear, but complete. The bed was excellent, the bathroom small, but full. And the whole house just has charm - starting with the little things like the pictures or accessories, over old yet very comfortable furniture, over an open fireplace that's not just decoration, down to scratched details like a key with a classroom key as a trailer.

It's just fine not to have to stay in a business hotel.

Spent a night last week in this hotel, and must confess that everything was beyond my expectations.
The hotel is newly built (still undergoing some works), located in peaceful area, with some nice breakfast (cold cut, cheese, vegetable, eggs, coffee).
The staff is amazing. They are really helpful and even when I realized that the payment for ordered pizza can not be done by card, they were ready to help me and paid in cash.
Overall I have nothing bad I can say about :-)

Charming place to stay

Excellent design full of character, antique pieces on every step, old fashioned music in the background and yet hidden, modern features to keep you in cozy comfort.  
I've spent here my last night on my own, before I got married in very next day. All my wedding preparation was caught on camera in here and I can't imagine better place to be at, than here. 
Owners were very polite and accommodating, very nice to talk to, also got a homemade breakfast from lady owner :-)

very quiet area and the location itself is simply AMAZING!

tuscany style, every detail is on spot, the room we stayed in was amazing.

the owner and his family are wonderful hosts and breakfast is great too, even though we are vegans.

you've GOT to experience it for yourself.

If you are looking for a quiet romantic place you just found it. Out of rush old town, next to nature but still close to the old town - approx. 5-7 min by taxi. The vintage interior is surprising comparing to outside of the building. The room on the ground floor is a little bit dark but the other room was absolutely amazing. Spacious, romantic, cozy. Unfortunately we skip the breakfast but the staff (I suppose owners) are super nice, friendly and helpful.

Warm home stay in extraordinary place

Warming place to stay in Kosice. It is impossible to find many places as Vila terrace in Kosice. Brand new building in tuscany style, many bricks in the walls, beautiful chesterfield sofa in the room, copper tube in the bathroom, beautifful fammily staf. Must stay in Kosice.

Pleasant stay

It's a lovely location, very friendly and professional staff. Very refined retro furnished rooms, beautiful bathroom. If you visit Košice, Vila Terrasse is a must-have choice. The managers, father and son, are delicious: nice and very professional. Good breakfast, very plentiful. What more do you want?

It's beautiful.

It is undoubtedly the best place we have stayed in Slovakia.It is a beautiful mansion, with antiques mires where you mires.As soon as we arrived we decided to postpone the visit to the city for the next day, and we were left enjoying the terrace, beer and jazz.The room and bathroom are very spacious and comfortable, and the super friendly staff, always waiting to see if we were okay.

It's wonderful!

We spent 4 days working in Kosice, taking advantage of the afternoons for walks. The villa terrace is located a little outside the city centre, but since the city has everything dug up, and the easy taxi fee is only 3 euros per ride, we found this the ideal choice. The house looks like a small southern fortress from the outside, surprising from the inside with lots of wood, French charm and lots of details. Perfectly clean, the 3 family members who own the house give the impression of being a personal guest. Great breakfast on the terrace, French Chansons with MP3 sticks, the old English gramophone with the old roof and gardens of Kratce.
