The cottage is lovely with spacious room, right in the neighbourhood of the village. 

The owner is a friendly lady, albeit does not speak much of English but does respond to emails rather swiftly. 

However, during our 3 nights stay, the owner did not appear to reside here. Hence we were very much on our own to find our ways around, especially on the hiking trails & food. 

Do drop by the Tourist Info Center right opposite the town church which is very informative & with ATM available.

Nice cottage but you are on your on own

Couldn't point out a single thing I didn't like in here, everything was perfect and clean. Spacious room, good shower, fridge in the room was a big help. The communal room is full of space and the kitchen has everything.

Spotless

The room was spotless, cute and comfortable. There is a communal room with tables and a well-equipped kitchen. The village is really nice and we enjoyed strolling around and taking in the beautiful surroundings. 
The owner is very nice but doesn't speak much English. Nonetheless, we had no problem communicating with her through emails, and there's a good wifi connection so that you can check things online while you're there. There's also a useful tourist information in the village.
Highly recommended!

We would've stayed longer if it was possible

We rented two rooms with a couple of friends for two nights. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Each room has its own bathroom. A shared kitchen is available. Wi-Fi is free. We paid 80 euros in total, or 10 euros per person per night! Really good!

That's perfect!

The first impression is that you feel like home. Then more than that! You feel like in a paradise! It is immaculately clean - so much that you could in effect eat from the floor! - the romantic decorations show the traces of a loving hand and the institution shows no traces of use whatsoever. The rooms may not be spacey, but they have absolutely everything that is needed, everything falls under hand, so the rooms are extremely comfy. Not to mention the Landlady who is very kind and helpful.

This is definitely a place to return!

Romantic, clean and comfy

The rooms look just as sweet and lovely as they are in the photos! You automatically feel the touch of a loving hand in the decor. It was the most romantic hotel room I've stayed in. The rooms are not too big but equipped with large beds, a table and chairs, enough room for storing your belongings, a TV, wifi, refrigerator and small but functional bathrooms. The rooms are organized so that the pitched roofs are not a problem for taller visitors. There is enough parking space for the guests and a bus stop, several restaurants and 2 cash machines about a 5 minute walk from Penzion Pri Hati. The hotel is not situated by Terchova's main road so it's very quiet. 
There is a kitchen for the guests too - large, well equipped and with lots of sitting room. For visitors on a budget: preparing all your meals at the hotel won't be a problem. The separate recycling bins for glass, plastic and organic trash were a nice "green" touch too. 
The owners don't stay at the hotel 24/7, so contact them before you come to agree on where you can collect the key to your room (in case you need to call them, their calling cards with a phone number are available next to the kitchen door of the wooden house). I don't know about English, but Mrs. Michálková speeks Polish pretty well.
The prices are very attractive when you make an early reservation! 
The only thing I'd change is the bed - though very comfortable, one half of ours was slightly sunken. 
All in all a great place and I'll gladly return here the next time I visit Mala Fatra!
