I can't say enough how much I enjoyed my stay at this Pension.  The owner was the most nicest lady with a huge welcome.  Juice was also free upon arriving,   Helpful and as friendly as can be.  My room was perfect.  Absolutely spotless and quiet.  I spend a bit extra and got the studio apartment and I absolutely loved it.  I felt like I was at home.  It's just a short walk to the  supermarket and about half a mile down hill to the Lake.  Post office near by.  Bus stop near by as well that will take you to the next town to the train station.  I took a taxi as I did not wan to walk to the bus stop with my luggage, even tho it's not that far away.  I don't remember the exact cost of the taxi but it was reasonable or I wouldn't have taken one.,  The owner will call a taxi for you.  I hope to go back there some day.  It's so beautiful in the Bled lake area.

Lovely Pension.

We stayed just one night and it was excellent. Our host allowed us to park our car early while we walked the Lake. Bed was really comfortable and air conditioning worked well. Our host was really friendly and very funny. Highly recommend 😊

Lovely little spot

Location is close to Lake Bled. The room is clean and cosy! The room makes one feel home. Outstanding hospitality from the owner! The owner offered to send me to the bus station as it was raining heavily. Great communication. Thank you for the great stay! 

Excellent hospitality!

It's a good location within walking range of the center and the lake. Nice and peaceful area with just other houses/pensions. Great view from the balcony for starting the morning or ending the evening.

Would recommend

Previously I've stayed in hotels in Bled but this B&B was far better value and our stay was just as enjoyable. It's about a ten minute walk to the lake but it's still central (a few minutes walk from a bus stop to Ljubljana, a bakery that is forever open, and the main road) and what you get instead of the lake is a beautiful view of the mountains behind you. Immaculately clean, really helpful owners, excellent wifi, lovely bathrooms, a balcony, a peaceful location away from all the tourists...what more could one want?

Great value and a really peaceful location not far from the centre

This place was perfect just what my girlfriend and I needed towards the end of our travelling around Europe. Check in was easy, the owner had left a key and a typed note explained that he was away (but to let ourselves in), which room we were and left a telephone number in case of any problems. WiFi was brilliant so we could research what NOT to miss during our short stay at Bled. Air con, fridge and kettle in the room. It was clean and comfortable. Then when we met the owner he was very cheerful and welcoming, my girlfriend and I agreed it was like staying with a kind and jolly uncle. He booked us a taxi to the Lesce train station for our departure day and was just a very cheery man. 

Our only irks were that 
1. We had to pay in cash. On departure. We were really confused since we secured the booking on booking.com with a debit card. We aren’t totally savvy when it comes to things like this, so it just caught us by surprise. 

2. We had a little trouble, at first, finding it. A little sign telling us to go right at the end of the first lane off the main road, would have been really handy... (we possibly trespassed onto farmers land for a few feet. 😂😬)

Other than those hiccups we loved it! And would definitely return; and would totally recommend. 

Like staying with family

Checking in at Rooms Mlinar Bled was a very unique experience.  I arrived at Mlinar with no one to greet me.  I found the front door unlocked so I walked in, knocked on several doors, said “Hello” (hoping someone would hear me), and then walked around the building.  There was no one in the entire building.  What I did find was a single room with the door open.  The room’s detached bathroom across the hall was also open, with a key in the door lock.  I had reserved for a single room with a detached bathroom so I assumed this was my room.  Both the single room and detached bathroom were ready for check-in so I “checked in.”
Overall, the single room is great for a budget traveler.  The room has a small bed, a study desk, a closet, a small refrigerator, and a private balcony to sit outside.  The bathroom comes with several towels and a hair dryer.  However, the bathroom does not have any shampoo.
Concerning the bed.  I’m 5 foot 4 inches tall or about 163 cm tall and the bed was just long enough for me.  If I was any taller then my feet would be hanging over the end of the bed.  Also, it could feel like a hassle having to unlock/lock your room door then go across the hall to unlock/lock the bathroom door.  Turning the key in the bathroom door and bedroom door produces a loud noise, so other people know when you are going from one room to another.
In terms of paying for lodging.  The owner of the place emailed me and we coordinated a time to meet.  I guess the owner is very busy as it seemed like he was making jars of jam and he’s got quite a a nice garden.
Concerning getting to Mlinar, if you are arriving into Bled from Ljubljana by bus, get off the first bus stop in Bled.  This is the bus stop after you see the Dinopark.  The bus stop will be close to the intersection of Ljubljanska cesta and Ribenska cesta.  By getting off this bus stop you’ll save yourself 10 minutes of walking from the main bus station.
