we paid almost 200 euros per night- so we expected, for that price,everything will working. We were totally disappointed because the tv didn't work all days and the staff didn't take action to solve the problem. And also there was some noise every night.

Disappointed

The hotel location is okay, very beautiful views on the mountains. The rooms were clean but small, with no balcony. However, the service was HORIBLE. Staff very unfriendly, rude and socialy awkward. They didn't give us any information and just didn't want to communicate with us. The male owner was standing at breakfast tables, like he is some kind of a bodyguard, cheking if we are gonna eat too much food or what. That just made our stay quite unpleasant.

Nice hotel, horible staff

After 2 weeks in Slovenia I discovered the best pizza place in the country just before the Italian border. 
I tried the Napoli and it was super. 
Baked in traditional wood oven and with the best Italian ingredients.

We paid more than180€ per night for a “hotel” that seems more like a guesthouse and not a god one. Upon our arrival we saw and add saying “bed and breakfast for 45€”, which seems to me more in accordance with the treatment and service received. Cold welcoming. Spacious room under the room with no views. No shower and no room cleaning during our stay (two nights). Dreadful breakfast. The only positive note: the pizzeria at the back of the “hotel”. Excellent pizzas and an amazing view. That saved our stay.

Felt like a scam

Our third visit to Hotel Alpine which has ultraclean comfortable rooms.  Good reasonably firm beds.  The view from Room 4 could be the best anywhere and this from a former writer of Lets Go Europe and an ambassador with 145 countries visited.  Bonus points:  the attached restaurant has excellent food, cheap generous pours of wine.

Still best view in EUROPE

Last year we made a few hours stop in Log pod Mangartom and had lunch in Alpine Hotel. We liked the village and the restaurant so very much so we decided to stay 2 days this year. Alja - the heart of the hotel - is "3 persons in 1" - receptionist, waitress, tourist guide, and much more ... A very nice and clean room with a fantastic view on the mountains, delicious Italian food, a spaceous parking place, reasonable prices. Will come again next year.

Unforgettable stay

We visited the restaurant with our children age 9-10. We all loved the food. Best pasta ever... the view is like from a post card.
Prices were very reasonable. (60 euro for 4).nice service. we really recommend visiting the place if you are in the area. 

Excellent Italian restaurant 

We used this hotel as a base of operations, so we didnt spend much time at the hotel. Nicely located between mountains, so the views especially at morning were stunning. We used the nearby church chimes as an alarm clock, therefore there was plenty of time to explore surrounding Triglav national park and Soca valley. :)
Breakfast contained bread, delicious cheese and ham, coffee, juice, fruits and cereals. Parking lot was very spacious!
Hotel staff was nice but kinda in hurry. Especially young brunette lady in the morning, spoke good english and gave uselful tips to our next accommondation in Portoroz!
Minuspoint, refiregator was too noisy.

Hotel with alpine views

We've had a nice stay at this hotel. The rooms are great, there is a very nice view from balcony to all the mountains around... the only thig that bothered me was breakfast (not many options to eat..)
