So, I didn't actually stay there (thankfully) because I was apalled by their rudeness in the reservation process. Me and my partner wanted a little weekend getaway in late July 2021 and Frank Ozmec's farm was one of our "wanted" destinations. I've sent them an e-mail to check availability of the rooms and they've found a room for us in that time period. In the meantime, I've already found another offer elsewhere (which was better for us)  so I informed the staff of Frank Ozmec's farm via e-mail that we will not be coming this year. Everything okay so far. Then our vacation came and we were enjoying a week at seaside before coming to Prlekija for our weekend getaway. I got a call one morning, about a week and a half before our planned visit to Prlekija, and it was from the staff of Frank Ozmec's farm to confirm our visit next weekend. They woke me up so I was confused and I thought that I forgot to cancel the stay at their farm so I started apologizing. The woman who talked to me that day (don't know her name) was very rude and she was giving me a hard time about how irresponsible I am, that this is their source of income, so basically she took me on a guilt trip. I was so embarassed, I couldn't do anything else but apologize over and over again but she wouldn't hear my apologies. When the conversation ended, I checked my e-mail again and I DID sent them an e-mail, telling them that I wont be staying with them. So, yeah, I'm thankfull that I didn't get to visit them because from what I've seen (and heard) it would've been a waste of time, money and nerves, mostly. 

Waste of time and nerves

Very friedly hosts, excellent homemade food, large and versitile portions, very good wine, big, homely, cozy rooms (soft beds) with little shared kitchen. They allways go for an extra for guests (nutela for kids, moscito repelent in rooms, wine tasting, blankets,...). We stayed there in in this corona times and it was no problem. Rooms desinfected, bottles for desinfection everywere, large home yard in shadows with lots of tables, one for each room.

Excellent stay

Lovely comfortable room. Very accommodating and hospitable hosts.  Excellent breakfasts and dinners - we ate there every night for 4 nights and it was outstanding. Beautiful location and in close proximity to the vineyards for mooching around and sampling the local output! 
We were a group of old friends meeting from Stockholm, Finland and UK and we all managed to get there by various means of transport and airports without any problem.  Villi and his mother are just the best and kindest people.  Would definitely go back if in this country again - which is very likely as it is just beautiful

Just delightful in every way

Wonderful stay at Frank-Ozmec. The guest house is spotless and the rooms are comfortable, each with a private bath. We were given a bottle of the wine made on site as well - added bonus!

Breakfast in the mornings was huge and delicious (eggs, crepes, veggies, cheese, fruit, coffee or tea...everything you could really want). We had dinner cooked for us one night and it too was absolutely delicious. 

As the property is a few km's from the nearest centre, a car is really a must. However, a car is highly recommended for the entire Jeruzalem wine road region. That said, renting bikes for a day (you can also get them at the farm) is a great activity. 

I would highly recommend a stay at this tourist farm!

Great stay in the country

There are many many places to stay in this area, but are not easy to find. That said, this place was a very pleasant surprise for us. Willy (don't how to spell his name) picked us up from the middle of Ljutomer as we had no idea how to get there and when we got there we were very impressed with everything. We had traditional food for breakfast and evening dinner with as much wine as we could drink; as they make there own wine. Pretty much everything we had was home made and was incredibly tasty. I must mentioned the home cooked turkey steaks as they were unlike ANY turkey steaks that I have had before, with flavours that were amazing!! They have their own honey, cherry jam, pear jam, cherry snaps, grappa and a very good selection of chillies ... HOT too :-o

Rooms are big, clean and new. Location is very rural and right next to the wine road in Jeruzalem.

Willy was SO helpful in SO many ways, and there are many things to do.

The 7 cats were really cute too :-D

I would say, if you stay there over the weekend be prepared for lots going on; parties, doos which can be noisy.

Would go back.

Great tourist farm

I stayed at Frank Ozmec place for three nights and four days. The place is really interesting and you really have a feel that you're on the country. There's plenty of ponds, vineyards, horses, etc. I was in an apartment with an excellent connection to wi-fi and everything was clean. Woman working there was very flexible and served breakfast for us at 12 o'clock! Also, bottle of wine was waiting for me when I checked-in. I definitely recommend this place!
