Easy to find, friendly and helpful staff.
Immaculately clean, well presented room, stunning surroundings with sea view. Quiet place.
All explained by arrival. Close to the centre.
Quit difficult to get there: the villa is located on the hill.
It was a pleasure to stay there.

Stunning surroundings 

Ants, wasps and mosquitoes were the undisputed owners of the room. There are two small bathrooms located upstairs that are shared with five other roommates.

If I went back, I'd choose better.

Unpleasant odors from the bathroom, almost absent staff, little cleaning, heating with an electric thermophone on wheels, synthetic single sheets on the double bed and bad smells not to mention blankets. For all this 50 euros a night without breakfast in very low season. The view is not bad but only from the rooms on the first floor and they charge you 6 euros more.

RECOGNISED

I spent the night with friends in this three-star hotel in Portorose on New Year's Eve...the other options were few and expensive, so I was already aware that it would be a good accommodation. Beautiful the view and also the location, quite central (a sharp attention raised by about 10 minutes to walk back from the center); but insufficient the cleaning and the linens accessory...I honestly never slept on a blanket like this: synthetic, dated and unperfused. The bathroom then lacks ordinary maintenance!

Mmm... no, I'm not going to.

Gentle and available staff, plenty of breakfast, pictures of attractive rooms, but that said the dream vanishes, breakfast without the slightest trace of fruit juice, water, coffee, milk and tea in the bag. If you want a juice, you have to drink it in the city. Dirty rooms, see attached photos, dust, spider everywhere, hair on the floors, spiders in the room, insufficient heating system, and they really don't know how to make the beds!

Oh my good, so much smoke, little roast.

We had booked a room for the same evening. When we arrived, no one at the reception was closed. It was impossible to contact anyone from the hotel!

Bad Faith of the Host

Located about 800 meters from the centre of Portorose, it is after an extremely steep climb with a slope of almost 90% and if you walk to this place it's just the end. The room we took was filled with dust, even though we had a garden next to the various beds were completely dusty. The only good thing is the air conditioning that at least kept us cool.

Dirty

Overall, our room was very dirty & dusty! Also the balcony, the carpet bows etc. Everywhere were spider webs & dust. As an allergist, I had to use my asthma spray! The towels & bedding were definitely not fresh. The breakfast was unfortunately very minimal. And for a nutrition conscious person it was a pure disaster!! Only cakes & cakes, hard-boiled eggs... coffee, milk, hot water were put in water cookers (?!).

The memory of cleanliness lasts longer than the joy of the small price?

...to ask for more than 50 euros in low season for a room like this... huge bathroom but nothing works... no hot water, clogged drains, scary fatigue... no TV, dirty sheets... with everything that I'm a camping motorcyclist who doesn't suck at anything, this place is terrible for me too...

But how do you...

Looks ok from the outside, a bit old but it could be nice. So we said ok, let's give it a try (we stayed only for one night). 
But when you want to take a shower....OMG, the plastic curtain was all moldy (see the pictures), the tub was totally dirty, no hot water (just a bit warm). The towels were also dirty (luckily we had our own). The bathtub (yes, the room has a shower and a bathtub) is even worse, it looks like it wasn't cleaned for ages :(
Oh, the bathroom is so big they even left there a broken refrigerator :(
Also the furniture is old but it could pass. But the bed...terrible, old, dirty... I didn't dare to look under it.
