We loved Villa Bellevue! 

+ There is free parking right in front of the door.
+ Very friendly staff.
+ Spacious room with a beautiful view.
+ Big bathtub IN the room with the view of sea right in front of you!
+ Bathroom with shower.
+ Everything seemed very modern, especially the bathroom and tub
+ Comfy, big bed.
+ Huuuuuuge balcony, I would actually call it terrasse, with sunbeds and chairs and a small table.
+ Telly with Netflix-access ;-)
+ lovely little pool with a beautiful garden terrasse where you can watch the sunset
+ lovely little sauna area with sauna and infrared sauna (we don't do saunas so we can't really say anyting about that).
+ Our room was very quiet, so was the wellness area (but as it wasn't high season there weren't many people around)

I don't really wanna critcise anything but there might be a few things that people mightn't find a 100% cool:

- If you wanna go into town or to the sea you have to walk down a looot of steps and a pretty steep little road (it didn't bother us but it might bother some people). 
- Also within the hotel compound you have to walk a lot of steps up and down to get to the vending machines, where they sell coffee, tea, soft drinks and even alcoholic beverages and again to get to the wellness area. Make sure to bring slippers! They have gowns and towels for you to borrow but no slippers...
- fitted carpet in the room. But that's maybe a personal thing as I don't like fitted carpets. You see every stain (and so we did).

We loved our stay at Bellevue's and will definitely come again!

A wonderful hotel.

I don't know how to start, everything from communication before our arrival to check- out was flawless.

Top hotel in a great location. Free parking, pool, finish sauna and infra red sauna, lovely garden with sunbeds by the pool area, wonderful staff and very nice room for a family of four. We will be back.

The best!

The hotel is located directly on the main street above Portoroz, free parking is allocated in front of the house. The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful, always approachable. Please note: the rooms and apartments are very different in size and balcony; there is no safe. Ours was built because of a free-standing bathtub and some columns in the middle of the room. It takes about 5 minutes to walk down a small very steep street to the center of Portozoz.

Great view of the sea

at 10pm it gets nicely quiet outside. the room booking was messy and blamed on the booking platform. after two days we were offered a beautiful room but simply were too lazy too move for the remaining night. principally i hate it being fooled, but the owners left an impression of having tried at least that is why we gave polite four stars. but the argument of the office clerk "computer says no" is awful and invalid. the aircondition worked well, so did the wifi, the fridge and the TV. 100points for that and the pool & sauna. if you love fish you need to enjoy Pininja in the next village 20min ride its totally worth it. no partial refund was given because computer says no.

Far away enough from the crazy beach bunga bunga. but steep uphill.

Dirty expensive and very small room. Baby bad was also dirty and you get only one grey blanket in it. You have to be fit to reach it from city centre. Also many stairs! Really dont't recomend. Never been in worse and also more expensive room. Dont even get water and pay 100€ per night in september!

Not family friendly

This place is great for families. Huge apartments with lovely views, swimming pool also available. Friendly staff, quiet neighborhood. It's a little uphill walk from the beach but it only takes 5 minutes and the views are definetely worth it. 
Both of our rooms had an AC and were spacious, the accommodation offers you your own beach towels with a beach bag which is a nice touch. 
Saunas are also available, but there was no need for it during the summer stay. 

When in Portoroz, I will only stay in this place.

I will only stay here when in Portoroz

After initial difficulties with an apartment which we thought was not so beautiful (Capri), which did not have a private terrace, we were very satisfied with the Mozart apartment. The move was possible after some stress on our part. The accommodation on the slope should be aware of the beautiful views. If the legs are not at all ready, you can even drive to dinner. The employees and owners were quite friendly and very helpful. Thank you very much for the simple organization of a very friendly dentist.

On the hill

We reserved a room/appartment in febrary for a stay in september and payed in advance.As Corona made Slovenia impossible for us there was no way of being refunded( not even a part of it), which is illegal. We did not accept a voucher as this place was a part of a big European trip and will not make it again. So not honest and not acceptable!

Paying a stay without staying and no refund

Accommodation was beautiful. Everything was really clean, nice furniture, comfortable beds, nice balcony. We really liked the terrace and view. Our complaints are: no kitchen in common area, parking is small and there was a lot of noise early in the morning.

We also had really unpleasant and traumatic experience with the boss of the facility. First day we were given a parking spot which was really small. Since there was big car on the next parking spot it was really difficult to park our car. However we managed to park it between the lines but one wheel was on the line. After an hour we got a call from the facility that we must immediately return to the facility and move the car, since the wheel was on the line. We explained the person who called that this is not possible, since we just came to the restaurant and order a lunch. If we would go back, we would need at least 15 minutes to come to the facility. Person on the phone persisted and we also heard really mean comments from another person in the back. However they told us that we can stay at the beach and we will move the car later. After 3 hours a friend returned to the facility and she was on the stairs when she heard yelling from the top of the stairs (there is approximately 100 stairs). There was a woman (we later heard that is boss) who was yelling and was really mean. She said that my friend must immediately move the car. Since the parking was almost empty my friend told her that there is no need for yelling. My friend went to the room to search for car keys. She CLOSED and LOCKED door. She was searching for keys, when boss UNLOCKED and OPENED the door and came to our room. Boss was starting to yell that we must pack immediately and left the facility. My friend was shocked since that woman came to LOCKED room and wanted us to leave. So my friend told here to return money, write a statement why we must leave and we will leave. After that she decided that we can stay and she began to apologise. My friend then moved the car for few centimetres. The worst part is that there were free parking spot whole weekend, so there was no need for moving the car and definitely no need for yelling!

Weekend getaway - awful boss

We sleep one night. nice place, nice view but not very present reception. In the morning we leave the room, after a few hours we notice that we have forgotten 2 shirts in the closet and a bikini on the terrace. we call but they do not answer and we are still around we go back to the structure. reception tries to contact the waitresses but does not find them and tells us that he can not enter the room to see why it is occupied... immediately I seriously ask how the rooms are repaired especially in this period of maximum attention to hygiene... we remain in agreement that as soon as possible they would check the room, have heard the staff dedicated to our phones and that we would kindly send the things to Italy. informing us with a message. we can also tolerate the new address of our security guests. So the next day we had received the phone number and we have not received any more of this kind of phone calls and we have not been able to do so much of this kind of behavior.
