We stayed here as part of a group on a hiking trip.  This Pension is on the edge of Radovljica.  It is so convenient for the town and also has stunning views.

Radovljica is a very pretty small town. It has a few bars and restaurants.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, we were lucky enough to have a garden room with a porch with a table and chairs overlooking the vegetable garden and great views.

The building and gardens are pretty and the restaurant has outside seating.  

The restaurant is very good, we had three evening meals and eight breakfasts, all good.

It is also a nice place if you just want a drink.

The staff are extremely friendly.  We enjoyed our stay very much.

A Great Place to Stay.

We came on a dinner in their restaurant. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and seated in the hunting room, which was very homely furnished (everything was in wood). In a few minutes, a waiter was at our table. The food was delicious. A waiter was checking on us if everything was ok, and he also took the time to talk to us and engaged in a pleasant conversation. We definitely recommend a visit to the restaurant, and we will certainly return to them when we will wander around Radovljica.

Great food, service and friendliness

Comfortable hotel in a great location! Walk to the old town area with shops and restaurants, but definitely have a meal or two on the property. Toni and his staff went out of their way to accommodate our group and make sure we had a very pleasant stay. Great views also!

Great Place!!

We booked the Kunstelj for New Years and we were so glad we did. The service was fantastic, the food was great, and the wine was even better. It was a great way to see in the New Years, and very memorable. Thank you!

Excellent New Years meal

We spend there one night during our vacation in Slovenia and we really enjoyed it. Everything was clean, new and nice. Breakfast was just great. Everything freash and tasty. Service was just incredible - smiling and very nice all the time. Definitely recommended!

Clean and big and renovated rooms.

Breakfast in the morning is large. 
The position of the hotel is very good as well, in the middle of nature.

Very nice place and great panorama

We had the Family Room 1/5 booked and it looked exactly as on the pictures on their booking.com profile, so no surprises at all regarding rooms, interior, equipment. The location of the Guesthouse is perfect, the only drawback is that the local train goes kinda under the balcony, but this didn't bother us, because the bedrooms were on the other side of the apartment so we didn't really hear the noise. The whole flat was completely tidied up everyday, towels were changed, and in general the mess that we left after our morning leave was nicely reorganized. I couldn't ask for better service. This room has such an extraordinary view to the Sava river valley and the Triglav itself that I couldn't stop taking pictures of it every possible scenarios. For breakfast you get coffee, tea, all sorts of fruits and veggies, cold cuts, cheese, jams, etc. and you're asked whether you want scrabbled or boiled eggs - so those are always made fresh. The staff was always kind and was looking for our needs all the time. I really can't understand what might have happened with user dschubba13, because we experienced exactly the opposite, positive way in all aspects like she wrote.

Wonderful place to stay with a family of four for a week

Kunstelj Pension, a well-run two-star pension situated in the quiet and picturesque Radovljica.
A good base for exploring the area.
Nice breakfast, the dinner was tasty, but it could be more varied.
Excellent service.
We wish the owner to have the energy to keep the business going, despite personnel challenges following the covid years.

This meal was delicious and very authentically Slovenia.  It was a lovely experience.  The waiter had great recommend for both foods and wine.  The environment was clean, rustic and pleasant.  We would definitely recommend it and do again in the future.

Delicious dinner

We were 3 couples out for dinner and decided to explore outside of the capital. Had the carrot soup with ravioli for starters and buckwheat dumplings, both mouthwatering. The mains, however, are the reason we're knocking off a point: the veal was uneventful and the fish rather bland.
