Very nice and clean room, all furniture is wooden. Room is spacious, equipped with jacuzzi. From the room is a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and the lake. Also breakfast is delicious. Around the hotel is a lot of chances for sport and enyoing beautiful nature.

Amazing experience. Really lovely experience, atmosphere is very pleasant, nature, nice decorated rooms with lot of small details, wellness also good equipped, breakfast full of local ecological ingredients (chees,bread,..). Staff well trained and very nice.

Excellent hotel & service

Perfectly located near the lake and ski resort, offering modern comforts and exceptional service. Luxury in the nature

We had a lovely stay at hotel Bohinj. That being said there were things to consider. First, we tried to make a reservation literally two days in advance (we were aiming at some skiing at nearby Vogel ski resort so we were waiting for weather report). We wanted a ski package that cannot be booked automatically, we sent an inquiry through their form, and by the time they were able to answer, there was no possibility for that stay because saturday became fully booked. Then we booked over booking.com, because that way we were sure that the room is booked as soon as we booked it (for one night only) and tried to book a treatment at the spa, but again, we missed the opportunity because it was already booked. 
That is not a flaw of the hotel, but proof that it is very popular and you have to book well in advance. At least we managed to book a spa visit which is complimentary, but you have to book it because it is also very popular.
Spa is good, there is a small turkish bath, some showers with cold rain effect, finnish sauna (very spacious and properly warmed up), a salt-room and small outdoors pool/whirlpool. We enjoyed the spa very much, it felt a little bit small, but it really helped us release some soreness from the full day of skiing. 
There was a cheese tasting in the lobby that day, and we met a lovely lady, bought some local cheese, and enjoyed the tasting before the spa.
Rooms are relatively spacious, and well equipped although my wife hoped for some body milk, but there wasn't any. Which isn't really a big deal. The bed was fantastic, we slept like lambs, and the rooms and the whole hotel are very nicely decorated in a modern alpine style. 
Breakfast was very good. The only thing is that the coffy machine didn't really make milk foam for my cappucinno, and coming from some other 4 star hotels, I've seen some quite more spectacular breakfasts than this one. Although, the food was top notch and honestly it was very very good breakfast, it is just fair to say that we have eaten several more appealing breakfasts in a similaraly categorized hotels.
The last thing is somewhat specific. We came with an EV and I asked an information if there is an EV charging at the hotel, and got the answer that they have chargers ( not just one) and they are free for customers. When we arrived the chargers were fenced off by a construction equipment (because they are building a new addendum to the hotel, possibly a more luxurious spa? :) ) and only one charger was really available. I managed to wait for a spot there and connect it but they switched to paying for charging now. I have no objections to pay, I still appreciate to be able to charge the car while enjoying the hotel amenities, instead of waiting at the fast charger somewhere along the road. But when I mentioned that I'm paying for charger, while they said it is free for the hotel customers, they quickly made sure to refund me for that which is extra nice gesture, and kind of didn't left me feeling like I was promised something and then the promise was takne back. 
Although there is room for improvement, the hotel is impressive, and given the position that it is in, I think this is not my last visit there. Currently I feel this woud be my number one hotel by the Bohinj lake. And despite my milk not being frothy enough (I know, that sounds really spoiled :D) I'l give the hotel the highest marks. It was really almost completely up to my (very high) expectations.

Very good hotel and accommodating and helpful personnel

Truly special stay. Checks all the boxes and more! We enjoyed all aspects of the hotel - the decor is spectacular - modern with a classic twist. Our rooms were spacious with wonderful views. The restaurant was amazing - from the above & beyond breakfast buffet to the sophisticated delicious dinner good to match any 5 star dinning. We were also wowed by all the staff. They were extremely wonderful hosts - eager to assist with any need, their service felt personal, caring yet extremely professional and competent. The location is a huge plus - right in town close to outdoor activities as well as restaurants etc.

Only one player in the luxury hotel market on the lake and this is it. Beautiful hotel, sophisticated restaurant, spa, adjacent to the lake and river, drinks on the garden overlooking the lake, pleasant staff.  Exquisite rooms, Sandi style.
