- Room was great and comfortable but the toilet seat was broken. It also felt claustrophobic as the one window stared out into another building.  For the price I paid on the promotion it is acceptable. 
- Breakfast - was delicious but I would have liked to be briefed about where breakfast was and what time it is from etc. Breakfast is brought to your room so a little uncomfortable eating under the tv, I somehow feel a small breakfast table should be added to the room or the current table moved to a better space. No guidance regarding parking and I noticed some people had parked in front of their rooms but the gate was locked so had to walk in the rain and cold to my car which was parked on the other side. Did not see a security guard so was a bit concerned about the safety of my car considering there was also a wedding the same night. The gate was left open, not sure if it was working or not. Getting to my room meant walking towards a couples room which was a a bit awkward. Since the rooms are far from reception and require you to walk outside I think they should have a telecom system so we can contact reception if anything. I would go back but not at their actual rate on promotion yes:-)

Relaxing, peaceful, refreshing and great location. Great place to recharge and enjoy the beauty of nature. Good breakfast and great service. very friendly staff too who would go out of their way to help

The duBoirs Boutique Lodge Weekend

Lungile is a gem! From when we approached the facility, detailed information was shared with us. It all sounded too good to be true and indeed the best came to pass. The level of professionalism was amazing, impressive indeed.

The good stuff -the food and the interior of the the property was lovely. Unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives. Bearing in mind that they had another event going-which should not be an excuse- the level of disorganisation was appalling. Upon check in-we indicated that we would check in late but the staff there were clueless. We were sent up and down the venue before we could securely check in. During our entire stay, it was very noisy, you could hear people talking and walking around the venue in the AMs. There are no phones in the rooms so you need to use your own airtime to contact the staff, there were no guide books regarding eating times or menus. The pool was filthy -if you’re looking for aesthetics-for pictures, you will be disappointed. The exterior of the venue on the pictures vs the condition of the place currently is catfished. We were extremely disappointed as it was supposed to be a romantic birthday weekend away in the bushes. 

Not a quiet romantic getaway venue

Absolutely beautiful place with amazing staff. We had a lovely stay and breakfast was a real treat. Really wish we had booked a longer stay as everything was just perfect. We will definitely be coming back 👍👍👍

Perfection ✨

Very quiet location. Rooms clean, bed comfortable, breakfast good (probably great if not diabetic!). Staff polite and willing but not overly friendly. Rooms are basic, could have done with a clear desk or small table to put stuff on. Plenty of towels but only liquid soap. 

Neighbours could be noisy but that is true for any hotel or guest house. Advice: don't let them put you in room 5. It looks very private until you realise it is right next to the outside staircase leading up to the lounge/breakfast room which is right over your head....................

Right where I needed it

Wifi did not connect throughout my stay, & the room sliding door is facing the passage way where everyone passes which meant no privacy. The tv is old and doesnt connect to any dstv or internet channels. 

Overall stay was good.

Everything was great and the place is stunnin!  I want to express a special thank you to Nono who went out of her way to arrange a lovely dinner at very short notice.  Thank you!  Looking forward to visiting again!

Great Stay and Service

The scenery of this venue is beautiful, garden is well looked after and maintained. I cant say the same for the accommodation, extremely dirty and neglected . my husband sat on the dressing chair and it was broken . bathroom had  green slimy mold on the tiles. eating area was full of dust and we found hair in our breakfast. we slept there for 2 nights and wanted to leave the first night but couldn't as we had already paid when we checked- in .my advise is that you to check accommodation first before making payment as we were very very disappointed.  

This Hotel is advertised as a 4 star but is actually a 1 star. Miss leading customers

The scenery is exquisite, however, cleanliness is disappointing. I was first taken to a very hot room upstairs full of Mosquito. I complained, and I was then moved down stairs because there was a cancellation. I was greeted by a cockroach in the bathroom. I requested for 2 twin beds, I was offered single beds, apparently, they don’t have twin beds and that’s what I booked for. I moved out the next day, I couldn’t spend another day.
