This was an overnight stop on the way from Cape Town and it is perfectly located by the N1. It's right on a river with beautiful grounds, with lawn, geese and peacocks. The unit has a well appointed kitchen and a large outdoor braai area. There is a separate bedroom with a double bed and there are bunk beds in the lounge area. The only downside is, given its close location to the N1, it can be noisy with trucks driving past. We will definitely stay here again in the future, given it's location, affordability and features.

Great location

We had a wonderful time once again. The place is so clean and has ev erything you need. Frikkie and his team goes above and beyond. This was our 5th time there and it just keeps getting better. Very highly recommended.

Reinheim

The resort is very user friendly and well located, the grounds are well kept and secure, The access to fishing waters and the view excellent. the chalets are top notch, well equipped and stylish 

Brilliant Fishing in Bleom

Reinheim River Chalets was a wonderful surprise. The chalets are right along the river, with an abundance of tame wildlife and birdlife that visit you at the chalet each day. Each of the chalets has an amazing central barbecue area with outdoor seating and unparalleled views of the river. The fishing in this river is sustainable with Catch and Release. The gardens are immaculately kept and the swimming pool is a treat on hot days. The air conditioning in the bedroom was a lifesaver. The only small negative is the close proximity to the main road, especially with the truck traffic at night. Having said that, it did not in anyway damper our stay and we would most definitely recommend this accommodation. We had our dog travelling with us and she loved her stay there as much as we did. We will be back!

Wonderful log chalets right on the river

We went there for n Bachelor's. The place was clean and tidy. The host was very Welcoming as we where arriving later that normal check in hours. The rooms had aircon which is a big advantage with the heat of the summer.

Overall a great stay will go again with friends.

Group of friends

It was a very pleasant stay everything neat and clean couldnt ask for better . If you left something at home everything was there . Especially the neatness of the bathroom . The view was so relaxing . And the solar panels helped a lot . I would recomend reinheim for anyone young and old . 

One night stay

It was such a joy spending time at Reinheim, we had the best family time and the calmness and tranquility of the river adds to a restful break away. We will definitely go again. The place is clean and well kept with chalets being stocked with all the basic needs. 

Excellent family time

The chalets were clean and neat and contained everything you need for a weekend away. You basically only need to take your food and drinks, everything else was available in the unit.
Can recommend to anyone looking at a neat overnight place to stay close to Bloemfontein.

Relaxing & peacefull.

The chalets are comfortable, clean and well equipped. Excellent outdoor and indoor braai facilities. The fishermen enjoyed the stay right next to the river. Well managed and kept, Frikkie even provided us with the Load Shedding schedule for our stay! 

Reinheim River Chalets

This place is clearly set up for fishermen who are not too concerned with cleanliness or aesthetics. The bed was comfortable. However this is sadly where the positives end. It needs a thorough deep clean and attention must get paid to the plumbing, no cold water in the bathroom basin and no hot water in the kitchen. Probably a good idea to unblock the shower drain as well. Rather avoid if one is looking for a clean, dust free stop over.
