My mother and I stayed in this guest house while visiting in chilly July! The rooms were warm with heaters and SO comfortable and spacious. The staff can not do enough for you, from bringing pots of coffee into our room every morning to ensuring our luggage was carried and even giving us extra time to check out should we need it. The house is amazing; luscious gardens with interesting and clean rooms. We will definitely stay again. 

What a wonderful stay!

This is our fourth visit to this beautiful guesthouse. We absolutely love Highlands House. It is truly tastefully decorated - lots of antiques, beautiful room themes & cozy. It really could be rated 5 star - stunning linen - rooms spotlessly clean & tidy. And of course the staff - Jane, Madre, Monica, Rose & Nelson to name a few welcome us like family. Breakfasts are delicious. I thoroughly look forward to coming to Cape Town & staying here. Can’t leave out Duke - the most arrogant cat I have ever met - who if you are privileged enough may chose to visit your room!!! We love this place.

I attended a workshop at the Highlands Country House and the entire experience was fabulous. There is easy access from the road, with secure parking inside. The rooms are warmly decorated, comfortable, spacious and clean, with a beautiful, demure cat that makes one feel at home.  We used two rooms, one of which had a boardroom table with a projector. The other had beautiful couches, suitable for group work. The staff were discreet and professional in their conduct. The food is outstanding.  There were delicious vegetarian snacks such as quiche and cucumber stacks, and the most awesome brownies I've ever tasted. A fantastic experience overall and highly recommend this venue.

Simply superb!

Highlands is a beautiful little boutique hotel, with lush, well kept gardens, located in a leafy suburb of Cape Town at the base of Table Mountain. Having spent 12 days there recently, we couldn't recommend it more highly. The staff were super helpful, with no request too much trouble, and the in-house chef prepared top quality, fresh meals every night that we found delicious. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and full of light, generously furnished, and the view from our balcony was breathtaking. We'll definitely be staying here on our next visit!

Good day
I would like to just take this opportunity to thank you for the kindness and generosity you showed towards us. I requested the use of your garden as the backdrop to my daughter’s Matric Ball photos at very short notice, late on Saturday morning. Madre was very friendly and accommodating and Daniel actually made us feel like paying guests when we arrived there on Saturday evening. 
Although the sunlight had unfortunately already gone when we arrived we still managed to get some beautiful shots in the garden as well as one or 2 inside.

Thank you again for your assistance at such short notice.

Great food, Great friendly staff and such an amazing building with loads of history attached to it.  Really centrally situated to shops and restaurants.
Had the attic bedroom which had a stunning view, even though you had to climb some scary stairs to get there.  Overall an amazing stay
