Friendly hosts, nice buffet breakfast, takes a single night booking in advance! Great for our needs on that occasion (Texas Concert at Kirstenbosh Botanical Gardens. Will visit again.

But, the stewardess (no owners and everything is managed by the employee and her assistant) offered us a second room without extra. Large room, but ridiculously small bathroom. It's impossible to put down her toilet kit, the door doesn't close, the toilet basin wasn't fixed. Breakfast is good, with the same products as everywhere. What's a little unpleasant is that the dining room for the guests is adjacent to the kitchen where the employees are standing. We have little privacy to talk about. It's the dark spot of this GH that's really, really, really dedicated, very attention-grabbingly located (it's in the 1st GH in front of the car). This is the only thing that you can do if you want to wash your dog. This is a very nice, very handsome, and very handy car.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay in Villa Hout Bay Heights. We stayed there for 8 nights.
Ancilla the managing director is very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a beautiful view and the breakfast excellent. We immediately felt home.

Wonderful, quiet place in Hout Bay

We stayed 2 nights at this lovely establishment. Asilla was a great host. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was always very friendly offering us information on local activities and restaurants.
Our breakfasts were superb with a good variety of hot and continental eats. Spent time sharing experiences with other world travellers at the breakfast table.
The private pool was great to lay around or to catch up on emails ect.
Our room was very clean as was all the public areas of the Guesthouse.
One negative was the size of the bathroom; very small for the size of the room, otherwise our room was well appointed. On the negative side, the road to the Guesthouse from the mail road was in need of repair ... very bumpy, but this is a council problem and not the problem of the Guest House.


Wonderful Hospitality

Villa Hout Bay Heights is a cute little guest house, with good accessibility to restaurants and supermarkets. Set alongside a mountain, the villa offers great views. There is a slightly steep drive way up to the house (which could be expected being situated on a mountain side), but our tiny Picanto 1 liter rental car made it up with no problem. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very nice. It was perfect for a long weekend.

Quiet, calm, simple rooms.

TV wasn't working , but didn't worry me to much . 
Would stay again, very nice unexpected view of the mountain ....

And breakfast was very good , the ladies there were willing to make you almost anything you liked , very delightful !

Just what we needed 

At first, the maganger and the housemaid were very hospitable, helpful, diligent and always very friendly. The other surroundings were fantastic. The house was at first glance in a decent condition, the rooms were clean. Security personnel kept order with their presence around the property. The owner was rather difficult and very sociable, always present and unwilling to drink. The nightlife was rather short-lived. Also the neighborhood in the wellbeing settlement is usually in the party feeling until the gray mornings. The guest house is excellent for parties and sociable ball companies. After safety: an untouched rental car to the back of the property, which is far from the center of the forest. But the general feeling of the wellbeing is usually to be observed in the sunset and the sunset, but the wellbeing should be taken into consideration only!
