Very friendly Personal und very helpful, good breakfast, good location, near by Long Street, there was always coffee and fruits to take. The owner was also very helpful. We postponed our departure twice and stayed longer besäuselt it was so nice.

Good location, parking available. 
 Friendly, helpful, and honest staff.  After our departure we realised we had left money in the room safe.  On our return to collect it found it fully accounted for - thank you..
Breakfast was continental style, no hot food available, but adequate.  Coffee available all day in reception area.
However, our accommodation itself was very disappointing and bore little resemblance to that advertised on the website.
The ground floor room was located directly alongside the reception desk and breakfast room., and outside the window was the dustbin area.  Windows dirty with bottom half painted over and unpainted top half looking directly at a blank wall of dustbin area.
The room was small, functionally furnished, noisy each morning (from dust bin collection) and smelled strongly from dust bin area.
The bathroom was tiny, with slippery floor, and the shower was  totally inadequate - with hot water eventually arriving after long wait.

Other rooms may be acceptable, but not this one.  Two nights were more than enough.

Very Disappointing

We really enjoyed the stay !

Fritz is well located,  sights in town are in walking distance and there are plenty of coffees and bars around the corner

peaceful and qiute stay

A nice, very comfortable hotel. Friendly people. Sensational breakfast. Quiet but centrally located.
In the evening we could walk to the restaurants and bars without any problems. Also on the way back to the Hotel Fritz, we always felt safe! Once Fritz always Fritz. Claudia u Eric

Holiday in Kapstadt

Great location, near all the restaurants and the hustle and bustle of Cape Town. Table Mountain on the route as well. Value for money! Good breakfast! The Hotel needs a Porter for the elderly visitors carrying luggage up the stairs!  Plugs and Bed lamps in our room did not work.

We spent 6 nights at Fritz Hotel in September 2019 . The hotel is very nice, well situated, the room ( 14 ) was very big and confortable. We really appreciated  the cozy atmosphere, feeling at home.Breakfast is also very good. The owner, Arthur is very helpful and kind as well as the all Frizt's staff.

A unique hotel. By and large very good although room could be cleaner. Sevice by the staff was excellent. Breakfast was fine. They have fresh fruit and a coffee machine available any time of the day or night. 

Special

Great atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, very close to excellent restaurants and shops and museums. You can walk easily to Long Street and Companys Garden, to the Iziko South African Museum, to the South African National Gallery, to the Iziko Slave Lodge Museum, to the Bo-Kaap Malay Quarter and to many other interesting places. We will defintitively come back!
