Wow, what a wonderful place, We absolutely loved it, Sabine is such an amazing host, she looked after us and our 1 year old and made sure we had everything we needed. 

Her breakfasts are amazing, the house is amazing and equipped with everything you need. We loved our room this was perfect for our family and the views is amazing.

Anniversary Getaway

From Aepic Gusthouse we made several trips to beutiful places. Our guide Alfie who lives nearby  told us several stories about cape town ande the people. We stayed in the house with 8 people, 4 used a wheelchair.   A lot of space for everyone. The breakfast was great and Alfie and Sabine, thank you for your hospetality!

Great experience

This house was perfect to relax and see a lot in Cape Town. Our group consisted of 4 wheelchair users and 4 walkers: they all enjoyed! 4 bathrooms with sitting possibilities in the shower are present and all restrooms have handles. In 3.5 days we saw a lot in Cape Town!

Amazing and wheelchair accessible

Thank you for a very nice stay at Epic GH. Our room  was perfectly equipped for disabled guests. Great  breakfast  and hospitality. Very good located to visit Boulders Beach Penguin Colony and the Cape. We got a lot useful tips, thanks Alfie and Sabine.

Near the penguins

We needed to find accommodation in the Cape Town area that was guaranteed accessible for our wheelchair bound 12 year old (after a few experiences where accessible accommodation booked internationally .....wasn't!).   Not only was our accommodation fully wheelchair accessible but it was spacious, comfortable and beautiful ! Sabine and Alfie were wonderful hosts, and a wealth of area knowledge and experience.  Our day trips were fabulous and every recommendation they gave us for restaurants etc was spot on !  Being from Canada, South Africa was a big leap for us in terms of travel (particularly with a child in a wheelchair), the Epic team made this a super easy as well as enjoyable/entertaining and educational family vacation....we can't thank them enough !

Just what we were looking for !!

We needed a guest house that was wheelchair friendly and had no steps. This place was fantastic! They are totally organised for wheelchair and older folk. The whole guesthouse is spacious and well-appointed, and the people are so friendly and helpful. It also has a lovely patio with views across... and is close to everything!!!! We travelled around the Cape peninsular and visited various tourist places in Cape Town, and they were all easy to get to from here. So glad we stayed here - it made our holiday even more enjoyable!

Handicap-friendly accommodation in Noordhoek, nearby Cape Town

We stayed at the Epic Guest House for almost a week completing our Epic Enabled Tour which had taken us from Johannesburg to Kruger National Park and return.  Alfie and Sabine have mastered the needs of travelling for / and with disabled and wheelchair bound companions. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very gracious in catering to the needs of our two young grand children, one wheelchair bound. Even when things got a bit hectic for our family they maintained a calm assurance and helped us out.
A great holiday completed in the relaxing atmosphere of this spacious and well appointed guest house. Each day began with a super breakfast as we sat down with Alfie and made our plans according to the weather. Always flexible, always interesting.

Exactly what you wish for but rarely find!

Stayed at the guest house at the end of our Kruger tour with Epic Enabled (see separate review).  One of our party is wheelchair bound.  We could not have felt more cared for by Alfie and Sabine and their staff.  So many times facilities tout that they are suitable for disabled, but it turns out not be true. What a difference to stay in a place that truly knows what to provide and was roomy and comfortable for the rest of us.  Even provided a backup wheelchair when ours gave out!  We didn't dream this opportunity was possible for us and are so grateful.
  The guest house itself is in beautiful Noordhoek away from the city of Capetown but an easy drive

A special opportunity for disabled and wonderful for the rest of us

We were fortunate to end our Epic Enabled safari in the Kruger with a wonderful stay at the Epic Guest House outside of Capetown.  Sabine was a gracious hostess, serving us a delicious and hearty breakfast each morning.  Our room was spacious, and totally accessible, and we had access to an entire floor of living, including kitchen, living room with fireplace and outdoor deck.  We enjoyed the book library, games, and the beauty of the tasteful South African furnishings.

Additionally, Alfie and Sabine made it possible for us to spend several days (there is an accessible van to travel in)  in the Capetown area, visiting various waterfronts, Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope, penguin colony, vineyards, and a tour of Capetown.  The Epic team is unsurpassed. All in all, it was a fabulous experience!!! Thank you for enabling us to make this journey so delightful!
