The ladies were great, fantastic breakfast and service. Very spacious room with a beautiful view of Cape Town. Very nice restaurant “Nelson’s Eye” is near by. Walking down is fun and coming back uphill was with Uber, approx 4Can$.
Beautiful house and gorgeous garden.

Staying in Villa Zeezicht

Had a great time at Villa Zeezicht. Very friendly hosts, beautiful building and rooms, great views and lovely location. 

The hosts made us feel extremely welcome and were very helpful!!

What a great place !

We have been well received upon arrival. Nice secure parking spot for your rental car. Familiar atmosphere and open on all questions you may have to arrange exploring the neighborhood and city. Breakfast is nice and sufficient. For the dinner, nearby restaurants can be found on walking distance. Very friendly staff. 

Perfect accomodation to explore Cape Town

We have booked a room in the Villa Zeezicht back in July, prepayment was not required according to the booking conditions and the hostess said that we could pay when we arrived. We were looking forward to our holiday in Cape Town and invited our friends to join us for a second room. We were very surprised when we arrived from the airport and saw a dark building. The girl who came out to us said that the hotel was closed - the owner was in the hospital (suddenly) and her daughter had left. But she has called to owner — and nothing, no actions to decide a problem with our booking. I understand that anything can happen, but it was VERY unpleasant to stand with suitcases at 9 pm on a completely dark (load shedding) street in not the safest city in the world. It still seemed to me that booking a room imposes obligations on both parties: both the guest and the host. And here it turned out that since there is no advance payment, it is not even necessary to warn about force majeure. It’s unpleasant for me and I don’t want anyone to find themselves in this situation.

Almost ruined vacation

Villa Zeezicht is a lovely guesthouse to stay. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are spatious, the area is nice, safe and close to the city center.  
The only improvement could be the breakfast. After 10 days staying in the guesthouse a larger variety in the breakfast would be good. Every day the same bread, cheese, jam, fruitcocktail. Include croissants, white bread, ham or salami etc for the breakfast, it would make it really much better. Second thing it that we had to ask for clean sheets and towels after 5 days. Sheets should standard be replaced every 2 days to my opnion. For the rest everything was fine. 

Lovely stay at Villa Zeezicht

We had a very warm welcom and felt like a member of the family. The few of our room was amazing.
Well, this house is not new, but it has history and you can feel it on every window, every door, the floor and the furnitures.We loved the charme of this Villa and are looking forward do book it again. 

First stay in CapeTown - we come back, also to Villa Zeezicht

It’s summer in the city. So one needs air condition.
But every day when we returned to our room: it was freaking hot in there, because housekeeping turned off the a/c. 
And then the inevitable load shedding had the a/c turned off again, so we couldn’t cool down our room.

This villa don’t have a generator, so one had to sit with a torch in the hot room.

It is nearly on top of the hill. 
So be prepared for a steep incline!

Annemarie (the lady working there) saved this establishment 2 stars, because she really gave us excellent directions and more than one insider tip.

Our a/c was turned off every day by the housekeeping

The house is the oldest guesthouse in Cape Town. It's location is just fabulous and the view breathtaking. The 2 rooms we had were large, the beds very comfortable. The bathroom has all what you need.
The breakfast was delicious and rich.
We felt very welcome and will visit again!


Great place

Nice place in one of the oldest guest houses of Cap town.
Nice view of some of the rooms over the city to the sea.
Breakfast was very good and complete.
No noise at night. 
the selection of TV programs was very small.
I will stay there ones more!



Nice place to stay

Amazing place to stay in Cape Town. Location is perfect, nice neighborhood and only a few minutes drive to city center or Table Mountain. Great views from the room overlooking the city. Room was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities you need. Bianca the daughter of the owner welcomed us, was super lovely throughout our whole stay and made us feel like home. I can only recommend Villa Zeezicht!
