Booked double bed and got 2 single beds pushed together. Tv did not work. Shower was intermittent and did not work properly. The electronic water heater was faulty. One minute the wter is boiling hot and the next minute ice cold. It was too much of a hassle to take a shower. Very disappointing. 

Could have been better

Every you need is available, full self catering, nice beds. TV a little small but otherwise well worth the money spent. Shower was a little bit of a struggle and because of the water restrictions. A little home away from home

Perfect and cosy

The room was neat, cosy and contained all the amenities needed. The staff was also helpful and friendly. Additionally, the lodge was situated within walking distance of many shops, bars and restaurants.

Cosy Stay

Excellent place to stay. Very quiet and relaxing place to stay. We had a little problems with the power in our room but had friendly help which made it all worth it. the nice part is that all the tourist attractions are close. We had a swell time and will go back soon and bring out kids also as the beaches nearby.

A very nice place situated at an ideal location to explore Cape Town and surrounds.Staff are friendly but management distant though.Everything was perfect except for the two single beds, forming double bed, that is very uncomfortable for a couple.

it was excellent staff welcoming and accommodating , place easy to find quite place and safety..........i would like to be there again and recomend it to friends ...   i dont have alot words to say ... .. spacious rooms as well

I'm a digital nomad travelling now for 14 months around the world. I like to visit the nicest place on earth and stay in a city and in an apartment for a longer time, let's say 2 or 3 months. VIP Cap Lodge is such a place to be. From here you can walk to Kloof Street with a lot of restaurants or taking an Uber to all the places you have to visit in Cape Town.
VIP Cape Lodge is at the foot of the Table Mountain.
Parsh and PJ are very lovely people, helpfull in all situations.
No doubts! Go there!

The best place to stay in Cape Town

Certainly a very comfortable room and perfect service. Here in South Africa the hotel was one of the best, with a good price, organized, cozy, and comfortable. Ms. Moodle and her family they are very good people, very thoughtful.

Cozy place

The accommodation was excellently furnished and everything provided for. We stayed in one of the suites, which was spacious and ideal for longer stays. The most convenient venue as it is a scenic, centrally located and close to beautiful Table Mountain, Camps Bay and the V & A Waterfront. The rooms were immaculately clean and the pets were so friendly.  A very safe and secure venue. The hosts were friendly, accommodating, and informative. Thank you Parsh and PJ for the most delightful stay, we will certainly be back soon.

Excellent Family  Orientated Venue

The decor is done on the cheap and looking tired. TV selection limited. The automated gate is malfunctioning which the owner denies. The gate closed onto the side of my car causing considerable damage. The owner wasn’t prepared to look at it or discuss it. She was simply rude.
