One of best view stay in Cape Town. Please consider this before you book any other hotel if you plan to stay in Simonstown. And also it's nearby to all the places of interest. Salty sea dog hotel is just 5km away. 

Pleasant Stay with Awesome viee

Stayed in the Naphtali Lodge which has fantastic views of Boulders beach and False Bay from their comfortable rooms. An Ideal place to visit the Penguin colony of Boulders beach pus only a short walk into Simons Town and enjoy the unique harbour restaurants. 

Simons Town trip

The owners were kind enough to warn us that the property is perched high above the road - so not ideal for walkers - you definitely need a car to access.
The flat was confortable but the decor dated, and whilst the kitchen was well equiped it did feel tired and in need of modernising. Well provided for with linen and the beds comfortable. Sadly we visited while the birds were feasting on berries and depositing everywhere which was unpleasant and prevented us using the balcony.
Otherwise the owners were helpful and polite.

Stunning views of the bay.

We booked a 3 night stay at Napthali through booking.com. On arrival our room was allocated to someone else, the owner ushered us to share a room with a kitchen with his caretaker as the owner was overseas. We were not satisfied with our room as the room we booked had its own kitchenette. We decided to stay only a night and move on, to that the owner over the phone tells us that we paid for two nights and got a 3 night package, which was not mentioned or noted on our booking and reservation from booking.com. View was partially nice other than that a very uncomfortable stay.

Comfortable yet not welcoming

This property has absolutely amazing views. Many steps to climb. Average accommodation, old fashioned. Wouldn't drink from their old brown tea stained cups.  Dried up coffee in a dirty jar. It's an anonymous stay with a maid to let you in. Owner never made an appearance. No breakfast available but a kitchen to prepare your own. Only worth it for the view. If you don't have transport, it's not the place for you. Up windey hills.
