Intaba Lodge was beautiful: its location, its views and its peacefulness, it really is a relaxing place to stay. Pierre and Valerie were the perfect hosts. 

I spent 4 nights there with my dad and stepmum as we were meeting up with family for a celebration of my dad’s 90th birthday. I had the Green House room which was fantastic, comfortable, secluded, with everything I needed to hand. It even had the bathroom in a cupboard which was very neat. It had a small kitchenette, very handy if you’re spending longer there or want to microwave a ready meal in the evening. The breakfasts were fabulous, lots of choice and just enough of it to satisfy without feeling overloaded. It’s on a steep hill so there are lots of steps but my parents managed even at their age, so it’s ok as long as you take your time. They stayed in the Garden Room as it suited them better as they didn’t have to negotiate the steps too often. We all agreed though that it was a lovely break in Hout Bay and we would thoroughly recommend Intaba Lodge.

Fabulous

Intaba Lodge has a very unique ambience. You feel totally relaxed and at home there, yet with a high degree of care and concern should you require it. I valued the peace and quiet and the discreet presence of all the staff. The location is beautiful and the views outstanding from my cottage.

Serene Retreat

Highly recommend, perfect place to stay just outside of Cape Town, gorgeous contrast to the city, best of both words, Ubers are cheap so stay here and retreat to heaven! I would definitely stay again.

A beautiful place, peaceful and incredible views, lovely owners and gorgeous breakfast.

We spent 5 magnificent days here. The views are spectacular.  Owners Peter & Valerie are charming, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area. Set in the hills above Hout Bay, we enjoyed the beautiful grounds and area. And we enjoyed being greeted each morning by Basil, the sweet dog residing here. We would highly recommend this charming place

Bliss at Intaba Lodge

We loved our stay in the Intaba Lodge. It is located in a quite area of Hout Bay, with fantastic views to the mountains. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are tasteful and of high quality. The breakfast at the veranda is freshly made and rich.

Beautiful lodge with fantastic views and friendly owners

Friendly staff. Hostess are helpful Food is good and good service. No wheelchair facilities. Not suggested for elderly people. Parking is a little bit of an issue but will  recommend Intaba for a relaxing day or two.

Good Stay

I can’t really add anything to what’s been said before. Beautiful bedrooms,  fab pool, good breakfast with stunning views of mountains. Quiet and peaceful. Respectful owners. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Beautiful Quiet Retreat

Stayed for four nights at end of our holiday, after a lengthy road tour. Wonderful location, beautiful views of Table Mountain National Park area, quality guest house and attentive French owners and hosts. Nicely appointed accommodation with style, comfort and peace and quiet. Basil the dog, also always gave us a lovely welcome. Would thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful views, lovely property

This is our second stay in Intaba lodge and it was a wonderful experience again. This is so nice, relaxing and peaceful place to stay. The location is excellent and you can easily reach any attraction in the area. The breakfast has a great variety.We were happy with this "inviting" lodge with lovely view over mountains, beautiful area and charming setting of  with nice terrace and sitting area. The facilities is great and the hosts (Pierre-Marie and Valerie) are very attentive to all your needs. This lodge deserve the high rating in Hout Bay area! Hope to be back again!
