Having waited for the last minute to book my accommodation, I was surprised to find a vacancy.

This venue is within walking distance of the beach. It had a cute swimming pool and a delightful shaded are outside.

Rooms have air-conditioning ( heatwave outside) reasonably sized room, full bathroom and shower. Add Nespresso machine in room and a fridge that works!

There is an honour bar and ice machine.

Breakfast is extra and fairly elaborate.

Staff are friendly. Plenty of games for kids and an interesting library for those who know why books are printed. 

A surprising jewell

Enjoyed a short one night stay, large well appointed room with wonderful view of beach from verandah. Helpful staff makes this a gem in Strand, please consider to accept credit card payments and I will be back for sure

Nice stay close to the beach

Booked this room within two hours arrival, although short notice, the hosts were so welcoming and friendly. the guest house is a lovely home with some interesting history,  situated a very short and safe walk from the beach and you can see the sea from the room. The room was spacious, light and very comfortable. Lovely fluffy towels for the bathroom.  The free secure parking was a bonus too.
We stayed in the standard room, which was fabulous, but we took a look at the honeymoon suite and it was amazing, 
It's a shame we only stayed for one night, would def go back.

Fabulous stay.

It is a very attractive wing in a former presidential country house with some historical references. We very much enjoyed the spaciousness of the suite, its complete privacy, the very good service and last but not least the very nice host. The location near the beach is ideal  and functions as a strategic base from which to start a great variety of possible tours in the winelands, along the coast, to the Karoo or to Capetown.

Excellent and comfortable apartment near the beach

We had an exellent 4 nights stay, Everything was more than we expected, especially the owners of the villa, very friendly and helpful. They provided us with averything that we needed..The location and surrowndings where fantastic. We definitely would recommend this place to everyone.
