we have been coming here for years and we always enjoy it. we stayed at unit 6 and it was clean and very comfortable. I would recommend that they perhaps service the aircon as it did not cool the place down at night properly. other than that it was as always a great trip

lovely stay

Absolutely what we needed. Exceptionally clean, private (depending on which unit) and rustic (not 5 star and certainly would not want that either) just the way we like it. Everything you need for a getaway is there. Ice in the fridge and wood at the fireplace at our arrival. 

Absolutely what we needed.

My wife and I wanted to take a day or two to spend some time hiking in the mountains. Cederkloof Botanical gardens offer a great opportunity to do just that. The accommodation was private and really excellent.

Hiking Trip

Clean, private with amazing views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We saw Mongoose, Dassies and many different types of birds, we went for a short hike, enjoyed the pool area and ended every day off relaxing in our Jacuzzi. We will definitely be back! 

Our magical getaway!

A wonderful week at Cederkloof for my husband's 75th birthday
Stunning views, tranquil and private setting. Very good hiking trails if you are interested in walking
Cottage is a lovely size with everything you will possibly need during your stay
Bed is very comfortable with lovely quality white linen. Lovely aircon 
Nice big fridge
Of course the fresh coffee beans and perculator was the highlight of every morning
Jacuzzi on the verandah was just the cherry on the top for relaxing with a glass of wine 
Pool is beautiful and clean and so is the gardens and office area
Wonderful time spent here. Will be back soon!! 

Cederkloof Botanical Retreat stay over

From the friendly greeting on arrival to the little touches - coffee beans and grinder for fresh coffee and local rooibos, everything welcomes you here. Chalets are comfortable and well appointed and being able to hpp in the jacuzzi or the pool whenever you want is a blessing. We'll be back.

Naturally relaxing

From the easy booking and arrival, friendly and helpful staff, to the lovely thoughtful accommodation, this resort does not disappoint. Little things like fresh coffee beans, a grinder and plunger, fresh rooibos tea leaves with a soaker pot and so much more, make for a delightful stay. One can choose to stay forever in the personal jacuzzi or stretch a bit more in the communal pool, or really get adventurous on the trails provided. If it's peace and tranquility you're after, this is where you will find it. Even load shedding couldn't dampen our stay.

Our stay at Cedarkloof was painless! from checking in to checking out, the unit was clean as a whistle when we arrived and the the staff was super helpful the times we needed assistance! We will return

Secluded Bliss

Unit no 1 - Location stunning - Privacy superb - Views breath taking - Fresh oranges delivered is a plus - Abundant bird life and fynbos exceptional - well equipped loved the juice extractor. Loved the spotless jacuzzi on the porch perfect with a glass of wine Would definitely return for a longer stay

Tranquillity

We loved the stay at this retreat. 
The retreat is in a valley and the view from the lovely cottage was stunning.  

The cottage offered 2 very cosy and clean bedrooms . Out side on the veranda we had our own hot tub and braai .
