Beautiful location on the mountainside gives you a view of Clarens, lit at night.
The viewsite patio is amazing - you can walk into the view and veld on a long gang-plank.
The interior is exactly how Alladin furnished his castle, filled with treasure.
The attention to detail is amazing.
Really recommend this accommodation, particularly if you have kids.

Aladdins castle

Incredible journey to a fantasy land surrounded by the majestic mountains - it was way above and beyond our experience travelling in Europe just one month ago. I would love to stay here again and again - for some reason it touched my heart and soul very deeply. The surrounding mountains had a special energy that gave me goosebumps and venturing out on the deck to enjoy the silence and beauty was just absolutely stunning. I even woke up at 3 am just to go outside and drink in the peace and tranquility. The stars, the silence, the jackals calling each other at sunset, the cicadas...An African experience with Arabian flair - I could not ask for a better combination. Even the saree provided to really immerse yourself in the experience and feel like a real princess. What a divine birthday and anniversary celebration.

Aladdins Palace - A royal experience

We stayed as a family. The scenery was beautiful and I was very satisfied. We had a wonderful time for two days.　The location is great, close to nearby towns and national parks.
The service in the room is very good, thank you to the staff.

About our stay

The castle is everything you would expect from a fairytale.  Perfectly appointed with everything you'll need for a storybook holiday.  The décor is gorgeous and the view stunning.  Lots of stairs, so make sure your knees are well-oiled!

Romantic hideaway

By day one way, by night another, love thy decor but hate thy other. 

On arrival the castle was beautiful, dream come true for my daughter. But soon we smelled the bat pee and was later joined by a lot of bats. no wonder there was a tennis rackets in the bedrooms.

I wouldn't mind a bat - but having to live in a bat colony. I couldn't sleep. it's a health risk - what if one of those bats bit my child and I needed to treat them for rabies. 

PEST Control

Such a beautiful place that left me in awe with all the detail and not to mention the breathtaking view over Clarens town. The castle is neat and clean and well looked after and only a stone throw away from Clarens town to go about and explore.

Definitely a must see fantasy fairytale.

Magical fantasy

We visited Castle in Clarens for our first 12 year wedding Anniversary, we loved it and felt like royalty! We spent most of our time outside at the fire place, enjoying the view.
The castle is beautiful!

From the views, to the layout of the castle and all the little unique touches in and around the castle are amazing! You will truly feel like royalty when going to this place!

No words can do this place justice. Absolutely breathtaking!

Castle in Clarens- A must see!

Thank you for a lovely weekend and for the excellent service received.  The staff was friendly and the Castle was more than what we could have ever imagined, it was a true fairytale weekend.  We made memories that will be encapsulated into our hearts forever and a day.
