We had a fantastic stay at Ashbrook Country Lodge. Vanessa was very accommodating and helpful. The unit was well appointed and cozy. The town center is a short drive away ensuring you’re out of the hustle and bustle. A definite spot we will return to. 

Family stay in Clarens

This was the best place to stay at. They accommodated us late in the evening as we had to come from far. The place was clean and beautiful. Milk was left in the fridge to make coffee (This is always something Iforget and normally only buy at the place). Had a fire place insite which was amazing as it was VERYYY cold. We braaied the one evening which was so nice as well - had our own braai outside which was separated from the other units. Bed was nice and warm with warm-blanket included. Both shower and bath was included - which varies the option for whoever wants do bath or shower.

Fantastic

Very well equipped, spacious, great location for a quiet peacefull getaway. Well done, keep it up. (The trip advisor mandated 200 characters minimum is just plain stupid, unlike Ashbrook Country Lodge, which I highly recommend)

Awesome self catering lodge

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Ashbrook Country Lodge. Our room was neat and comfortable, kitted out with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor patio area includes a braai which was great for outdoor dinners. Big thanks to Vanessa for ensuring we were happy and had everything we needed! 

A lovely guest house

Thanks Vanessa, we really enjoyed our stay at Ashbrook and did not want to leave! Thanks for accomodating us with all our needs. Ashbrook is spacious with beautiful mountain views. It's warm inside, has great bedding and we would love to visit you again.

Perfect long weekend

The lodge was what I expected it to be, it was clean, it had everything we needed and the view was amazing. Your customer service is excellent and I will definitely book there again and refer you to friends. 

Excellent

We stayed 29 to 31 December 2019. Ashbrook's location  is excellent just outside the main town centre. Our room was spacious and very clean. Fiona was at hand to assist with any of our needs and answered her phone 100% of the time. Parking is open but secure behind a closed remote controlled gate.

A place to relax and enjoy all that Clarens has to offer

Ashbrook is very well situated in Clarens with a big garden and nice braai. Spacious rooms and living area. Few improvements I would suggest: Electric kettle didn't work. No Air condition in rooms. Still has a small box tv. Fix those 3 things at it will be a top notch place to stay.

Nice place but can do better

Ashbrook is walking distance to the center of town. Has all you will need to have a memorable stay. I highly recommend Ashbrook for it's value, convenience and beautiful view of the mountains. The lodge has secure parking.

Relaxing stay with a unbeatable vista

Fiona was a GREAT host - with all the family issues of when they come in and when they leave - thank you for coping with us all 
The house was newt and clean - well equipped with utensils and plates - only 4 teaspoons - could improve.

The cleaning crew die a great job and was very professional - please do put on a fitted sheet on the king bed -
