Our stay as Jovali Clarens was amazing, the room was equipped with anything and everything you can think of.
Quiet and beautiful, would definitely recommend.

We had a beautiful stay at Jovali! The magnificent setting, picturesque garden and comfortable, clean accommodation was a fabulous get away! We spent a memorable Shabbos and look forward to being back PG, thank you to our hosts!

The attention to detail was amazing and made our stay extra special. From flowers in the room, complimentary port, a home made Carrot and Pineapple cake to a rubber duck for your bath. A magical experience at Jovali.

This is an exquisite gem of a find in a truly stunning location. You've already scored 10 out of 10 with location just by being in Clarens but you then hope that your accomdation matches the wow factor of its surroundings and Jovali does just that on every level. No detail has been left out & absolutely everything is immaculate. As for the view from your room. Well....no words! Both Johan and Tim have clearly gone to a lot of trouble to ensure that what you experience here is not a home from home experience but a truly out of this world experience. For me a holiday is about living a dream - away from normality - and this place delivers that for me like nowhere I've ever stayed. Just gorgeous.

Out of this world South African paradise

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Jovali Clarens. The experience was a real treat, from the beautifully crafted room to the stunning views, and the thoughtful finishing touches. We stayed there in mid-July and the room was fully equipped to keep us warm during winter, with underfloor heating, and electric blankets. There was a generator to make sure we wouldn't be affected by any power cuts. The owners were fantastic, very friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. If you're looking for a cosy place to stay with great views, then Jovali Clarens is definitely worth considering!

Luxury and tranquility just 5 minutes outside Clarens

We arrived on a very chilly Friday afternoon for an extended weekend break. Everything we expected and more. Very clean, excellent decor with a personal touch on the small things (rusks, chocolates and the famous carrot cake). Tim was an excellent host - we unfortunately did not meet Johan. Highly recommended if you do not want the hustle and bustle of mid-town Clarens
