We went to the pub for dinner (wish I had know there was also accommodation).  The kitchen had just closed but the chef kindly cooked us some steaks - which were very delicious.  Staff were accommodating and very friendly.  Would highly recommend.  Its a gorgeous building too.

Lovely meal

I really enjoyed my room it was quiet, spacious and I could relax and sleep!  The hotel decor is really stunning. Breakfast was delicious, and good portion size!    Staff was friendly and i had a massage at the spa on Sat, which was really relaxing, and the therapist made me feel comfortable and relaxed.   I needed the time away to relax and just be quiet, and that's wat it was!   Appreciate the beautiful Cullinan. Will most definitely come visit again.

Lovely Meal  We had a great get together with family .  Thanks for your honesty. Left handbag with money and when I came to fetch it  it was safely lock away and everything and money still untouched   Highly appreciated 

Highly recommend this Hotel 

Great location, staff that goes over and beyond, super friendly all round and very helpful, Rooms are rustic but fairly spacious and clean, Breakfast and meals are basic and reasonably priced. The magic is really in the total ambience of the hotel, taking you back in history and also that you can walk anywhere from there, and the many activities offered in the area. Definitely recommended

Breakaway at the Cullinan was super!

The place was amazing 
The experience would been enhanced with full King Size beds and a modern TV (Netflix, Youtube etc)
Regardless Incredible, I would definitely recommend for a get away from a busy life and city

The staff is TOP CLASS

Staff felt like family after one visit, so helpful, all the reception staff especially Flora,  Brian in the bar and Clement in reception was exceptional.  The staff make the hotel.  Great food at good value prices. Cleanliness of rooms,  big bathrooms.  Note, take your own hairdryer. Will pack a lunch for you if going hiking

Review of  Cullinan premier Hotel and spa sat 17.6.23- sun 18.6.23.
The hotel was built in 1905.
Central location to the  mine.
We stayed in Room number 7.
Comfortable king bed, large bathroom, and historical decor all around the hotel with old artefacts for sale.
Friendly staff.
Tasty breakfast served off a menu.
Lovely quaint shops by main train station and tourist Street.

The mine earned its place in history of the Cullinan diamond in 1905, the largest rough gem diamond ever found at 3,106 carats, cut to form the two most important diamonds in the British Crown Jewels.
The Premier Mine is an underground diamond mine owned by Petra Diamonds in the town of Cullinan, 40 kilometres (25 mi) east of Pretoria, Gauteng Province, South Africa. Established in 1902, renamed the Cullinan Diamond Mine in November 2003 in celebration of its centenary.

We enjoyed our visit and we only had 2 issues. 1 is that we went to a wedding nearby and when we got back at night, we were locked out. No one told us that we need to inform someone that we'll be out. 2 is that when I booked 2 months ago via booking.com, I had chosen the option to pay immediately and not later. Upon checking out, I was told that still needed to pay and when I looked, the lady had all my banking details with her. I don't understand why payment hadn't been made when I had requested it. This was very disappointing. I was then told they don't work the same as booking.com....communication is important. Let your clients know what's going on.

We stayed over one night, and had a couples spa package which included breakfast and lunch (we also had dinner there) The hotel is lovely, as are the staff that work there. The only offputting thing was the noise from the pub downstairs, although it got quiet around 11pm. There is a pool table and people do get rowdy around it, and the sound echoes through the hallways. Maybe something for management to look at. Overall I would definitely stay there again, especially for the ladies at the spa

Great stay

Breakaway for our anniversary. Close enough from home for a short breakaway. Friendly staff, good food and lovely room with a balcony. Staff was helpful and upgraded us, to a bigger room. Will definitely go again.
