What a lovely little place with so much character. Everything you need for your stay.
My dog and I felt right at home. Even though you are in town, it never felt like it.  Was just sad it was not cold enough to use the beautiful fireplace. Will definitely go back in winter time  just so I  can use it.

What a gem and what a pleasant stay. Efficient and friendly check-in with the news that we had been upgraded to a bigger unit due to maintenance at the one we originally booked. The rooms were huge, the bathrooms luxurious and the added extras like fluffy bathrobes, electric blankets and hot water bottles were wonderful. The unit is very well rigged for loadshedding, and we honestly did not even notice the disruption.  KlipHuisjes is well located, within in walking distance of the town but with a tranquil feel - the Bluegum trees made it feel as if you are in a forest. Our unit had a beautiful large veranda with comfy chairs and great view of the sunrise, the perfect spot for planning our meanderings for the day or poring over the loot collected in the evening.  KlipHuisjes are pet friendly and we had a few friendly doggies visiting which just added to the charm - even the owners were nice, but then again, pet owners generally are! Our fireplace did not work so well but we concluded the wood was slightly wet, so I would recommend bringing your own, especially if you live in a drier area than Dullstroom.  I would also like to thank the owner for his patience when I made the booking, as I was waiting for news from my daughter who had a health scare, and I was not sure if I could make the weekend. He kindly extended the deadline for payment, my daughter was fine, and we enjoyed a fantastic weekend away.  Thank you!

Charming, comfortable, charismatic - KlipHuisjes has it all!

Was a great stay, second time I have stayed at Kliphuisjes and as good as my first stay 3 years ago. Would recommend it to all my friends. Well appointed, clean and comfortable. Close to all activities.

Stay at Kliphuisjes

We had a great time out at Kliphuisje for a few days, the perfect place for a quick spontaneous breakaway. It has beautiful aesthetics, and our room was very comfortable with a fireplace and electric blankets. The service was great and it's close enough to the buzz of town. We will be back! :)

Wonderful stay over the easter long weekend. 
Great location. 
The only suggestion would be to consider more Battery operated lights during loadshedding.
Pet friendly and great for a family get away. Home away from home.

We've been wanting to book a get away at KlipHuisjes for years, and eventually got the chance, was not disappointed at all, totally in love with the place.  Cottage was very clean, and nicely decorated. Owners are friendly and well organized.

Due to a power issue (Eskom) we had to be moved to a different room. Unfortunately it had a gag-inducing smoker's room smell. For us, it was a deal-breaker. If you are smokers, and not irritated by that, it should be quite acceptable.

A breakaway that was stunning, from the moment we arrived we were met with friendly staff and a great environment.  A cosy apartment that met our expectations, a fireplace well kept and maintained.  The apartment fully equipped

WEEKEND 16 - 19 FEB 2023

Always lovely to stay at Kliphuisjes.  Value for money, and central.  Kitchen is well equipped. Neat and tidy.  Doesn't matter at which unit you stay.  We stayed at The Cabin which is a very nice unit for 2 couples.

Getaway weekend

We spent 3 nights in dullstroom for a family wedding. Kliphuisjes was fabulous, clean, comfortable and everything we needed. Other family also stayed in the various other houses and all of them were so comfortable and perfect for the occasion. In walking distance to the village.
