Stayed here a number of times. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Place is clean and rooms are well appointed. Breakfast is really good and u only have to be careful not to eat to much. Honesty bar is a plus alongside very homey places to relax next to fire (winter) and pool. Overall superb.

Best B&B in East London

A last minute call to East London and I found this amazing B&B. From the moment I arrived the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was more than expected, large with a desk to work from, perfectly clean and comfortable. The cleaning staff were most accommodating and if they saw I was working they waited till I left and cleaned. Never got in the way.I had to stay an extra two nights and it was no problem to Carmen and Elly , they arranged the accommodation with no  inconvenience I will definitely come back here. Just one consideration for the warm nights would be airconditioning. Thank you for making my difficult visit a very comfortable one.

Carmen and Elly,were exceptionally professional, friendly and helpful. 

Breakfasts were superb and the dinners was of a 5star restaurant quality.

The bed was more than comfortable with a beautiful room and en-suite bathroom.

This is definitely the best bed and breakfast in South Africa.

My colleagues & I enjoyed our stay at Lotus in the past weekend. The humility of our hosts is one we will never forget. Cleanliness, fantastic food, beauty & warmth all in one place. A must visit :-) !

Home away from home

We were a group of friends with our "Mayor" out and about in the East London.   The rooms are exquisite, very spacious and well kept.

We stayed only a night and hopped to other B&Bs but were all captured by the Lotus Experience!

East London Pleasures

The room was very comfortable and well equipped. You have a swimming pool and an honesty bar as well. The manageress, Ingrid, is great, and she definitely makes you feel welcome. She also serves up a tasty breakfast in the morning.

There is safe parking on site behind electric gates. The location is not central, but in EL I don't really think that makes such a big difference because what counts as central there? Would not hesitate to stay here again should I be passing through.

Great stay

Was here with a friend this month for a family reunion and birthday party. Hotel interior and furniture were tasteful and the staff very friendly and helpful. We took a splash in the pool, which in May was a tiny bit chilly, but we got warned in advance and got rescued with fresh towels and a tequila.

The room was spacious and convenient, the bed soft and warm.

Next time we'll taste the breakfast in the restaurant. Location felt warm, personal and secure, closed gate private parking.

Definitely the place to stay in East-London.
